Description
We had spent the entire night playing video games as I hadn’t gotten that much sleep during the night. I groaned a bit as I got up stretching and yawned before looking at the time. It was close to 9 in the morning as I got out of bed and got dressed. It got a bit crazy last night as we were drinking soda and munching on snacks until around 3 in the morning. I left my room and headed downstairs when I heard someone in the living room. I looked in and saw that Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho all had fallen asleep on their backs in the middle of the living room while Gryph, Farm, and Ian were sleeping on the couches and chairs. I didn’t see Pez or Sam around as I figured they went off to sleep in a couple of the guest rooms. I walked into the kitchen yawning a bit and started heating up some water for some hot tea as I looked in the fridge. I frowned a bit as it was almost empty since we’ve been in Dragonia for a while. I opened up a small portal to the kitchen in Dragonia and pulled a carton of eggs and some bacon before closing it. I went to the pantry and got some fresh potatoes out and started to clean and grate them before starting to make a good sized breakfast for everybody.

I started to crack the eggs into a large bowl as I got a couple of skillets out along with a frying pan. I put the bacon in one of the skillets while putting shredded potatoes in the other one. I turned them on while I started to whip the eggs to make scrambled eggs. I poured some of the whipped eggs into the frying pan and turned the stove on and started to cook the eggs and bacon. I heard someone yawn while coming into the kitchen and turned around to see who it was.

“Morning Jeff,” Pez said yawning.

“Morning Pez, I thought you’d be sleeping in,” I said with a smile.

“I would’ve, but I couldn’t get back to sleep when I woke up about 10 minutes ago and then I smelled food cooking,” he said and smiled lightly.

“Well, I am making food for all of us, well, except for Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho. I don’t think I’ll have enough food for those three,” I said with a chuckle.

He laughed a bit as well and decided to help me with cooking breakfast. It went a bit faster and it was easier with an extra set of hands. We got done with making breakfast for all of us except for Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho when I remembered some frozen bacon in the freezer. I quickly pulled it out and took the bacon out of the packets. I got three large plates out and put a pound of bacon on each one before using my temperature ability to thaw and cook them. I had to tilt the plates over an empty container to drain the grease out as it took a bit. I heard yawning again and looked at the entryway to the living room when I saw Farm, Gryph, Sam, and Ian come into the kitchen. The scent of the food cooking went into the living room and must’ve woken them from their slumber. I waited a bit and heard three more loud yawns from the others and chuckled a bit. Pez and I started to get plates and utensils out for everybody and sat the three plates of bacon on the table.

“Hey, who’s all that bacon for,” Sam said looking at the plates.

“Yeah, that’s an awfully lot of bacon just for one person,” Farm said.

“That bacon is for the three sleeping beauties in the next room that are just waking up,” I said.

“Hey, we heard that,” Vallen said poking his head into the kitchen.

“Yeah, we’re not sleeping beauties, we’re dragons and a gryphon that like to sleep a lot,” Shrike said.

“Yeah, plus I do need my beauty sleep to make sure I look handsome for the girls” Fetho said.

We suddenly all broke out laughing at what Fetho said as he came in blushing. He, Vallen, and Shrike sat at the table and started to eat their bacon on the three plates as we started to fill our plates. We joined them at the table while I made sure to make some hot tea for myself while the others got some orange juice that was made. The food was very good as we were all enjoying it and talking a bit. Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho were busy talking among themselves about what to do when everything has calmed down while Farm, Sam, Pez, Gryph, and Ian were talking about the festival. I smiled and listened to the conversation happily while talking a bit as well.

“So Zilla, just how many continents does that planet have,” Farm asked curiously.

“Oh, it has about three large major continents and about five to six island continents. And a few smaller island kingdoms that consist of a few islands being close to each other. And the planet is called Terondia, I know it’s a bit hard to remember sometimes,” I said.

“That’s interesting, plus what are the names of the other two major continents,” Sam said.

“Yeah, and who are they ruled by,” Pez piped in.

“Well, one continent is called Vykladia, and it’s ruled by the nagas, the other continent is called Fareipia and that’s ruled by the gryphons,” Fetho said after eating his breakfast.

“That’s interesting, do they have the same culture as Dragonia does, or different cultures,” Ian asked.

“Actually, Vykladia has a more Mayan type culture and Fareipia has a more Aztec type culture,” Shrike said.

Everybody went wide eyed looking at him and then at us as they were thinking that the two kingdoms had the whole culture of the Aztecs and the Mayans. I chuckled some at the thought and drank a bit of tea before calming down and looked at them. They may have the cultures of the Aztecs and Mayans, but I know that they don’t practice the rituals of sacrificing innocent lives or having a temple built specially for that. The only things they have is the clothing type culture for the Aztecs and Mayans along with having some buildings and castles have some aspects of temples from both cultures.

“Don’t worry guys, they don’t practice the sacrificial thing like the Aztecs and Mayans did, they only have the cultural things like clothing and buildings,” I said.

They all breathed a sigh of relief and went back to finishing their breakfast before getting up. I got up as well and started to clear the table as they helped me. That cut down the time a lot so I didn’t have to spend so much time putting the stuff in the dish washer and cleaning the frying pans and the skillets by hand. We got done about fifteen minutes later as Fetho, Shrike, and Vallen snuck off to somewhere into the mansion so that they wouldn’t have to do any cleaning. I shook my head as we left the kitchen when I heard the doorbell ring. I blinked and walked over to the door as the others went off to the game room to do some more playing. I answered the door and looked to see who as I saw two men standing on the porch. I blinked a bit as both men looked to be about 5’8 and wearing almost similar suits as one was black while the other suit was blue. Both were wearing white shirts underneath as they could pass for MIB.

“Can I help you two,” I asked curiously.

“Yes, we’ve been ordered by a court to take your children and the children of your sister away from you,” one of them said.

“On what grounds,” I said and clenched my fists a bit.

“On the grounds of you being an unfit parent and putting your children in danger,” the other one said.

“How could I have put my children in any sort of danger,” I said glaring at them a bit.

“We saw pictures and video of you handling a dangerous animal on the internet and we’ve gotten calls from parents that you put your youngest one in danger because of one of these creatures was resting its head on your shoulder while you were holding your child yesterday,” the first one said.

“Yes now can you please hand the children over so we can put them in a safe environment,” the other one said.

“I’m sorry, but that is not going to happen. You see, they’re not here right now, they’re in the realm where my grandparents live, and from what I know, you have no jurisdiction there and we are immune to anything here because of us being royalty,” I said.

“That is not going to fly with us sir, we demand that you bring your children here at once,” the first one said.

“Listen, if you two don’t leave now and forget this, there is going to be big trouble,” I said with a small hint of anger in my voice.

“Is that a threat Mr. Hunyor,” the other one said.

“No, but I will tell you this, you take my children and my sister’s children away. My grandparents and the high council will find out that you took the future heirs to the throne of Dragonia away and put them in some kind of foster system. If that happens, there is going to be big trouble here and who do you think will be to blame on a possible peace treaty between the kingdom of Dragonia and the other kingdoms in that realm. If that happened, it could possibly end up becoming world war 3 here, and I don’t want that to happen, and I’m sure you don’t want that to happen either,” I said to them.

They both gulped before trying to come up with an answer to what I said. While they were doing that, one of their phones started to ring. The first guy jumped as it was his phone that was ringing. He quickly started to get his cell out and fumbled with it before he answered it. He stopped fumbling with it and calmed down enough and answered his cell.

“H-Hello. Yes we’re at his house. But sir, we were following orders. Yes sir, I understand. We’ll leave now,” he said and hung up after talking for a few minutes.

“Let me guess, someone got to your boss and told him to back off,” I said.

“Y-Yes, but we’ll keep our eye on you and we will find a loophole before too long,” he said.

I frowned a bit as they both headed to their car as I closed the door. That was a very close call as if they did go through with it, it would have meant very big trouble for earth and for Terondia. I started to walk towards the game room and started to think about grandma back in Ohio as I didn’t want her to get caught in any of this if everything does go south. I checked the time as it was getting close to 11 as I decided to call her and ask her something. I took a slight detour and went into my bedroom as doing this would get me in trouble with mom and dad and with grandpa and grandma. I didn’t want to lose her though and not have my children grow up without getting to know their great grandmother on dad’s side of the family. We already lost grandpa Hunyor back in the 90’s and grandma is starting to get up there I age. If I’m going to do this, I’m most likely going to need Azmoth’s help to help make the transformation as painless as possible for her so she wouldn’t have any type of attack. I closed the bedroom door and picked up the phone while sitting on the bed. I froze for about a minute before deciding to go through with it and called her.

“Hello?” she said when she picked it up.

“Hey grandma, it’s me Jeff,” I said.

“Hi Jeff, how is everything going,” she said.

“Everything is going well grandma, took the kids to a zoo the other day and they had a wonderful time there seeing all the animals,” I said.

“That’s good to hear. I’d love to see them again when there’s not a big ball going on,” she said.

“I’m sure they would love that. Though the reason I’m calling is because there’s something I want to ask you,” I said.

“Oh, what did you want to ask honey,” she asked.

“Well, this isn’t going to be easy. But I want to ask if you would like to become a dragon and come live at the castle with us and my other grandparents. I’m sure they would like it a lot and the kids would love being able to see their other great grandmother and listen to all the stories you have to tell,” I said.

“Oh dear, I may have to think on that honey. Is that okay,” she asked.

“Yeah it is, think you can give me a call when you made your decision. You have my cell phone number in case I’m not at home when you try to call me,” I said.

“Sure, I can give you a call Jeff,” she said.

“Thanks grandma, I’ll talk to you when you do call, bye,” I said.

“Bye honey,” she said and hung up.

I hung up as well and sighed a small breath of relief. That was very hard for me to do as I got up before leaving the bed room. I felt a bit of a weight lifted off of my shoulders as it was a bit of a relief. I walked back to the game room and looked in to see what everybody was doing. They were all busy playing video games as Fetho, Shrike, and Vallen were busy trying to get used to using the controllers on a couple of games as they were grumbling and growling some. I chuckled quietly watching them trying to play the video games as Sam was trying to tell them what to do. Before I could walk into the game room fully, I started to feel a feral was in close proximity of the house. It felt like whoever was coming was coming in fast. That didn’t feel right as it was a lone feral dragon and I had to go investigate. I quickly ran out of the room as I heard my name get called out a bit from Pez. I got to the back door and quickly went outside to see which direction the feral was possibly coming from.

I heard movement coming from the woods and quickly looked towards the source. I saw a large black and orange dragoness slowly come out of the woods. She looked to be about 20 feet long in length and a bit disoriented. She had what looked like blood covering her some and some old wounds that didn’t seem to be healing as quickly as they should be. I went wide eyed as her mane was covered in blood as it was limp on her side. I stepped back as I remembered her as it was Kilatine, the one dragoness that said I could go free and helped me escape from Krishna. I heard Farm and the others rush out of the house and stopped suddenly when they saw her. There was something off with her as she had a certain look in her eye. I realized what was wrong with her and looked back at the others.

“Farm, you, Sam, Gryph, Ian, and Pez need to get back in the house now along with Vallen, Fetho, and Shrike,” I said.

“Why do we need to go back in, it’s just a lone dragoness that looks like she needs help,” Farm said.

“Yeah, shouldn’t we help her,” Pez said.

“I would agree, but right now she’s in heat, and that puts all of you guys in jeopardy, especially Sam,” I said.

“We’re not going anywhere, let us help,” Sam said before she shivered hearing Kilatine roar out.

I quickly looked back at her as she quickly pounced at me. She was definitely in heat and looked to be starving as well. Those two factors are not a good combination as I quickly moved out of the way as fast as possible. She landed next to me with a skid and growled again before looking at Farm and the others. They backed up some as she started to focus on Sam some and stated to dig her claws into the ground. This was what I was worried about, if she was starting to focus on Sam, she would view her as a rival for the attention of the others. I made my move and grabbed her tail to hold her back before she could charge at them. She roared out in surprise and looked back at me baring her teeth. I growled back and looked at Sam and the others before motioning with my head to get back inside. Farm quickly made sure that she got inside while Pez and the others went inside as well. Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho went inside and but stayed close to the back door in case I needed any help.

She tried to get at me by spinning around and slashing at me with her claws. I stayed my distance from her while hanging onto her tail as I didn’t want to use my full strength. I didn’t want to hurt her at all, but I had to knock her out somehow and tie her up. This went on for a few minutes before she used all her might to fling me away from her with her tail. I let out a yelp as I got flung through the air and landed on the ground with a thud. I groaned a bit and slowly got up before feeling push down on me and pin me to the ground. I looked up quickly and saw that she had her paw on my chest and looking down at me. The look in her eye was stronger than ever while she was starting to find a way to get my clothes off of me. I gulped some trying to figure a way to stop her from making a big mistake. Before I could do anything, I heard a loud yelp and a clang come from above me. I blinked and felt her paw come off of me as I heard a thud next to me. I sat up quickly and looked at Kilatine as she was out cold on the ground next to me. I looked to see who knocked her out as Sam was holding our shovel and breathing a bit heavily. I got up and took the shovel from her and looked at it. There was a bit of a dent in it from where she had hit Kilatine with it as I chuckled a little bit. Farm came out with Pez and they both looked at Kilatine with wide eyes and looked at Sam in disbelief.

“Thanks for helping me out there Sam, it would’ve turned bad quickly if you didn’t come out and knocked her out. Now I’m going to need some help tying her up quickly and get some meat out,” I said.

“You’re welcome Jeff, but why do you need meat,” she said and looked up at me.

“Because this isn’t a normal heat, she’s also starving, and when a dragoness in heat gets hungry, this happens, and her wounds don’t look like they’re healing properly like they should. When a dragon gets hurt, their wounds heal within a day,” I said.

“That’s right, it happened to me a couple times growing up,” Pez said and looked at Kilatine.

“Now where do we find some rope,” Ian said.

“There’s some rope in the garage, and there’s a freezer there as well with some frozen meat. Get as much as you can, I can do the rest,” I said.

“Alright, come on guys, let’s go get the stuff,” Gryph said.

They all nodded and quickly went inside to get to the garage that was attached to the house. Vallen, Gryph, and Shrike poked their heads out of the back door and looked over at Kilatine. They looked at me blinking some as I sat the shovel down and walked over to her. I knelt down and checked her as she was breathing normally. Her wounds looked like claw marks and didn’t look infected at all. She was missing some scales as well and had some old shackles on her forelegs. I growled a bit at the sight of the shackles as the chains looked to have been broken when she escaped. I couldn’t believe that she was held prisoner without food and practically tortured. I took one of her forelegs and looked at the shackles as there was a key hole on them. I concentrated slightly on the key hole for a bit before seeing ice started to form around it and on the shackle itself. I kept it up for about a minute and pulled as best as possible on them. The part of the shackles that were frozen shattered instantly as they had become brittle. I picked up the shattered pieces while Farm and the others came back with the rope and frozen meat. I motioned for them to set the frozen meat on the counter for now while I went inside with the shackle shards. I dumped them in the trash can while Farm and Gryph worked on tying Kilatine up with the rope they had. Sam, Ian, and Pez came back inside and put the frozen bags of meat down on the counter.

They went outside to help out with Farm and Gryph while I walked over to the packaged meat. I didn’t know how long Kilatine would be out while I started to open up the packaging. Before I took the meat out, I went to the storage room and got out our large cooler that we use for picnics and took it into the kitchen. I sat it down by the counter and started to take the meat out of the packaging. I put the meat in the cooler as I knew it would take a good while for the meat to thaw out. I got all of the meat out of the packaging and started to concentrate a bit on each piece of meat so that each one could thaw out just enough. It took me a good half hour to do that when I heard groaning coming from outside. I quickly washed up and cleaned up the counter before heading outside. I got outside and saw that they had tied her wings to her sides and tied her legs together while letting her muzzle go untied.

They were all watching her from the back porch while I shook my head and walked over to her. I knelt down and looked at her as she was coming to. She groaned again and shivered as she slowly opened up her eyes and started to look around to get her surroundings. I noticed that she was right in mind as she wasn’t struggling to get free or growling. She tried to get up and stopped suddenly before looking at herself. She saw the rope and went wide eyed before starting to struggle to get free from the rope.

“Easy now Kilatine, we did this for your own protection,” I said as she looked at me quickly.

“What is the meaning of this, I thought I could trust you and now look what happened to me,” she said with a low growl.

“I’m sorry, but when you got here, you weren’t in the right frame of mind. You were in heat and I know you’re hungry. There’s some meat for you inside that we got out for you. Now if you could calm down, I’ll untie you,” I said calmly.

She slowly started to calm down while I started to untie the rope from her legs and body. When I got done, she got up and shook her body some and winced because of the wounds. I checked her wounds again and saw that they were indeed healing slowly. I figured it was because of her lack of food that caused her wounds to heal slower than normal as I got up. She looked at me curiously and warily while I motioned her to follow me. She did and looked at Farm and the others as they seemed to keep their distance from her. I looked at her as she lowered her head like she was being distanced again and out casted. I had to ask her what happened, but that will have to wait until after she got something to eat. She slowly stepped into the house to follow me and looked around a bit nervous. It looked like she had never been into a house before. I walked around the counter and brought the cooler around for her while she was looking around the kitchen and dining room. She seemed distracted while she looked to be examining the table and chairs before running a paw over it some. I watched her look around the dining room and saw that she was starting to tear up.

She seemed to be reliving memories of something and looked over at me with tears in her eyes. She wiped them away while I sat the cooler down by the table and pulled a chair out to sit down. She looked at the cooler and sniffed at it some. She flicked her tail some and laid down in front of the cooler before sticking her head into it and took out a steak. She started to eat the meat hungrily and quickly as it seemed she hadn’t eaten for almost a week. I looked at the back door and saw them looking in curiously to see what would happen with her as I motioned them to stay outside.

“So Kilatine, what happened to you? Last I saw you, you were helping me escape from that hierarchy cave,” I asked while she was eating.

“I-I was put into prison for betraying them and helping you. I was held there with little food and tortured some before I was about to go into heat. Two days before I managed to escape, they all left the cave system leaving me there to die. I managed to escape by using what energy I had left and the last thought I had was coming here for help. I-I’m sorry for what I tried to do to you and your friends,” she said and looked down while tears were running down her face.

“It’s okay Kilatine, you’re safe now. But I do have a question,” I said and rubbed her back some.

“What’s that Jeff?” she said and looked at me.

“Were you changed into a dragoness?” I asked her.

“Yes I was, about 40 years ago I was kidnapped and changed into a dragon. I was only 13 at the time,” she said.

“What was your human name?” I said.

“I-It’s been so long since I heard it or used it, but it’s Danni Tanlor,” she said.

“Tanlor? Do you have a brother and sister named Kyle and Lisa,” I asked curiously.

“Y-Yes I do, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen them. They both probably have families,” she said.

“Well, I got news for you, they’re both living here in Eagle River, they help run a local newspaper here. I’m sure they’ll be excited to see you,” I said with a smile.

She went completely wide eyed and looked at me. Tears started to form in her eyes and she quickly pulled me into a hug. I blushed heavily and rubbed her back as she started to sob happily about being able to become reunited with her family. I rubbed her back comfortingly while she cried before starting to calm down. She looked at me and used a paw to wipe the tears away from her eyes before smiling weakly. It felt good to help her find her family and reunite her with them. She was starting to seem happy again as I got something to help wipe her muzzle while she finished eating the rest of the meat in the cooler. When she got done, I lead her outside while grabbing some scale wash to help her wash up and get cleaned up. It wouldn’t be good for them to see her like this and it would be a good idea to look clean and respectable. I grabbed the garden hose and turned it on while Sam slowly came over.

Kilatine blushed some and looked at her while I started to give her a quick bath. She winced a bit when I washed her wounds and Sam jumped back some. We all laughed a bit as Sam frowned some before walking back over to Farm. We calmed down after I got done giving Kilatine a bath and she started to shake dry. I jumped a bit and chuckled because she got me a bit wet as I was still close to her. She blushed and looked at me while I smiled lightly and put the hose back up while turning the water off. She smiled and looked over at the others before lowering her head a bit. I looked at her and figured she was starting to feel down again about her actions early.

“I’m sorry for my actions earlier, I wasn’t in my right frame of mind,” she said.

“Hey, it’s okay, the point now is that you’re okay,” Farm said.

“Yes, and you’re going to be back with your family,” Pez said.

“I just hope they accept me,” Kilatine said.

“I’m sure they will, now get going, we’ll stay back here,” Sam said.

She nodded and looked at me before spreading her wings and giving them a test. They weren’t damaged at all so she could be able to fly. She also seemed to have gained enough strength back from resting and getting something to eat to fly as well. I spread my wings and took off a bit into the air and waited for her to get ready. She flexed her wings some to get the soreness out of them and took off into the air as well. I started to fly towards the town and took it slow so she could follow me closely and not get separated from me. It didn’t take us that long to fly over some neighborhoods and I looked back at her to make sure she was keeping up. She was flying slowly but was getting used to flying again while looked around at all of the houses like she didn’t know that there were so many houses around. When she was here before, she probably made sure to stay out of sight of the houses and the people. I smiles and looked ahead and headed for the town when I saw a few more dragons flying around. I blinked as a few were anthros and wearing clothes while a couple were full quad dragons and had some kind of belt with a bag on it around their waists. I shook my head as word may have gotten around about it being a bit safe for dragons being able to come out and live with their families. I should really pay more attention to this but since I’ve been in Dragonia lately, I haven’t been able to look around to see any other dragons walking or flying about.

I concentrated on getting to the newspaper place and saw it in town and flew towards it. I heard her fly after me as we both descended towards the parking lot. There were a few cars there as it looked big enough for us to land in along without scaring anybody. We both landed with a bit of a light thud and I looked at her while folding my wings up. She shook her body a little bit and folded her wings up as well and smiled softly at me. She stretched a bit and looked around the parking lot some before looking at me.

“What should we do now? I’m starting to get nervous about seeing my brother and sister. What if they don’t want me to be here,” she said and started to shake.

“it’s going to be okay Kilatine, I’m sure they’ll understand. Now why don’t you wait out here while I go in and get them,” I said and rubbed her side.

She nodded slowly and started to calm down some. I stopped rubbing her side and went inside the building. I looked around some and walked up to the front desk. The receptionist there looked to be a lady in her mid-thirties and had curly black hair. She was about 5’6 and wearing a blue blouse and a pair of tan pants. She was busy working on her computer when I walked up to her. She didn’t notice me at first and I had to clear my throat to get her attention. She blinked and looked up at me before going wide eyed and stared at me. She looked like she had seen a ghost and that got me a bit worried. I didn’t know what she was going to do whether it was going to be fainting or screaming because of seeing me.

“C-Can I help you s-sir,” she said nervously.

“Yes, I’d like to see Mr. Tanlor and his sister if they’re in,” I said.

“I’m sorry sir, but Mr. Tanlor and Mrs. Delly are busy right now,” she said after she regained herself.

“But this is important, I have news on their missing sister,” I said.

That quickly got her attention and she picked up the phone on her desk. She dialed a number real quick and seemed to wait for someone to pick up on the other end. Waiting seemed to take forever now while the ringing seemed to be going on forever. It finally ended when I heard someone pick up on the other end and say something. I couldn’t hear who was on the other end clearly and I didn’t want to eavesdrop on him.

“Yes sir, I’m sorry to call you right now, but it’s very important. I have a dragon here that says that he has some important information on your one sister that went missing when you were all younger. I don’t think he’s lying sir, he looks to be the one dragon that was interviewed a few weeks ago. Yes sir, I’ll tell him,” she said and hung up.

“Are they going to come out ma’am,” I said.

“Yes they are sir, they’ll be out here shortly,” she said and looked at me.

I nodded and looked around some before walking over to the chairs. I had to pull one out from against the wall so that my tail could go through the back a bit more easily. I sat down and waited before shifting some to get into a better position. I had to fix my wings a bit to get into a more comfortable position before being able to and calmed down a bit. I would’ve shifted into my human form, but I didn’t want to do that while the receptionist was there and freak her out. I looked around the room a little and saw that it looked like a normal waiting room with chairs lined against the wall, end tables with different magazines on it, and a little play area for children with a small plastic table and two small plastic chairs. There were also coloring books on the table along with a tub of crayons. I heard the door open up and looked to see who it was that was coming out into the living room. I saw two people come out as they looked to be in their early fifties to late forties. I got up as the guy was wearing a normal suit that was gray in color and a red tie as the woman was wearing a pair of slacks and a dress shirt. The guy had brown hair that looked peppered almost while the woman had deep brown curly hair as her hair was down to her shoulders. They both saw me and blinked a few times before stepping back.

“Are you Mr. Tanlor and Mrs. Delly,” I asked while getting up.

“Y-Yes we are, and you must be um, Mr. Hunyor right, the one that appeared on TV a few weeks ago,” Mr. Tanlor said.

“Yes I am, I’m sorry to surprise you both,” I said and smiled softly.

“I-It’s okay sir, and we were told that you have information on our sister. Do you know where she is,” Mrs. Delly said.

“Yes I do, but I don’t want you two to be shocked about this, but she’s outside right now waiting to see you two. She is different than what she was when she disappeared as she went through some changes over the years,” I said.

They both went wide eyed and looked at each other and back at me. Mrs. Delly was starting to tear up at the thought of finally being able to see their sister after all these years and that they knew she was still alive. Mr. Tanlor hugged her and rubbed her back as he was starting to tear up as well. The reunion was going to be a tough one for all three of them since Kilatine was a dragon and has been one for a few decades. I waited for about a minute before clearing my throat to get their attention. They both looked at me and nodded at me signaling that they were ready to go outside and see their long lost sister. I walked to the door that led outside and heard them follow me. I stopped at the door and looked at them a little worried.

“Now I have to tell you again, she is different from when you last saw her and went through a lot in the last couple of weeks. So please don’t be shocked or alarmed when you see her. She is very worried and scared about what you might think of her,” I said before they nodded.

I took a deep breath and opened up the door before going outside. Kilatine was still waiting out there and sitting down on her haunches. She looked even more nervous than before while I stepped to the side to let her brother and sister come up to see her. They both came outside and stopped instantly when they saw a large dragon sitting where they were expecting to see their sister standing. I closed the door as they looked at me and looked a little bit shocked about what they were seeing. I nodded some and looked over at Kilatine as she was starting to shake and tear up from seeing her brother and sister all grown up now instead of seeing them as young kids. I walked over to her and gently patted her on the side to help her calm down but that didn’t help that much.

“D-Danni, is that you?” Mrs. Delly said a bit shocked.

“Y-Yes it is Lisa, it’s me. B-But I go by Kilatine. I’m sorry I disappeared all those years ago without a word,” she said through tears.

“H-How can we be sure that you’re really our long lost sister,” Mr. Tanlor said.

“W-Who else would know about me saving up my money during the summer to help get you and Lisa candy during the summer and treat you to movies,” Kilatine said.

They both blinked and looked at each other before quickly walking over to her. She lowered her head and became shocked when they both hugged her at the same time. She broke down and started to sob while hugging both of them. They started to cry as well and hugged her back while rubbing her back as best they could. I decided to give them a little privacy and walked to the other side of the parking lot so that they could catch up on everything. I got to the other side and looked around before I could hear faint talking coming from the three of them. I could almost hear what they were talking about but decided to ignore it so I wouldn’t get in trouble for listening in on their conversation. While I was looking around, I felt like I was being watched and quickly looked to see who was watching me. I found out who it was and blinked quickly at who it was. It was an old man that looked to be close to his nineties and had pure white hair. He looked extremely familiar to me as he was wearing some old clothes as it started to hit me.

That man standing there across the street by the edge of the woods was my grandfather from dad’s side of the family. But that was impossible because he died back when I was a kid, and that was thirteen years ago and back when I was still a kid. That was a very big shock to me because he would be 99 years old now if he was still alive. I started to shake badly and slowly took a step forward. A few cars passed by on the street between us. When they were gone, so was the man that looked like my grandfather. I quickly started to look around for him to see where he disappeared to before I heard some wings flapping. I quickly looked up at the sky and saw a large dragon starting to take off from the woods. The dragon looked to be as big as Charna, possibly slightly bigger as the scales of the dragon were bright silver. The dragon had black markings on its sides along with black breast plates on its belly.

The horns of the dragon were black as well and the dragon had a small mane of white fur and black spikes going down its back to its tail. The wings were silver as well along with the membrane being black with silver markings. I was shocked by what I saw while I was looking at the dragon flying off and shook my head. It was impossible for the dragon to have possibly been my grandfather but I couldn’t tell if I was seeing things or not. I shook my head some and turned around before jumping some as I had seen Azmoth standing there with a little bit of a smile on his face.

“A-Azmoth, what are you doing here,” I said and calmed down.

“Just checking up on you and your new friend here,” he said motioning to Kilatine as she walked over to us.

“O-Oh, okay. I hope that I’m not in trouble for doing something,” I said.

“Oh, you’re not in trouble for doing this, though I would like to talk with you about something, and that was your talk with your one grandmother close to a couple of hours ago,” he said and looked at me.

“I take it you’re going to lecture me on asking her to see if she wants to become a dragon, and how did you know about that,” I said and looked at him.

“I was coming to talk with you when I overheard you make the call. After I heard what you offered her, I decided to go pay her a visit and help her make a decision,” he said with a smile.

“Um, should I know what’s going on here,” Kilatine said.

“Oh, it’s nothing Kilatine, and what did she say,” I said with a little worry in my voice.

“She decided to go through with it, I’m already helping out with it by taking her to Dragonia. I put her in a light suspended animation sleep and started to do healing spells on her to make her body strong enough to handle the transformation. Plus I informed your twin sister about it and she agreed to add the final ingredient and promised not to tell anyone,” he said.

I breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Kilatine as she smiled softly. She looked to be doing much better now that she was able to reunite with her brother and sister and actually had a small glow in her eyes. She looked good like that now along with being able to relax without worry about her family not wanting her back. Before I could say anything, she stepped over to me and gave me a tight hug and a lick on my cheek. I went wide eyed and blushed heavily because I didn’t expect her to do that to me. We both heard Azmoth starting to chuckle and that caused both of us to blush deeply and caused her to bury her head in my chest.

“You just had to go and laugh at this didn’t you Azmoth,” I said looking at him.

“It is a cute sight Adeodatus. And I believe that she may end up staying with you at your house here for a while until she can get everything situated with her family,” he said with a smile.

“Oh, that’s understandable,” I said and looked at her smiling a little.

“Now I should get going, there is a lot I have to do,” he said and walked away before disappearing from sight.

I shook my head at that as it was always something that would either surprise me or shock others that weren’t used to it. I looked at Kilatine as she was blinking and looking around quickly for where Azmoth disappeared to. I chuckled lightly at the sight and saw her started to blush heavily when she heard me chuckling. I patted her on the shoulder and spread my wings while waiting for her to snap out of her blushing faze. She finally did and spread her wings and we both took off into the air together and started to fly back towards the house. It would be interesting to have her living at the house and it would be something to try to explain to mom and dad and the others. I looked back at her to see how she was doing with flying. She was doing fine as it looked like she was flying better than on the way to the town. I looked ahead of us again and saw that we were starting to get close to where the house was. We got back to the house within a few minutes and descended slowly towards the back yard. We landed with a slight thud. I looked around and didn’t see anybody in the back yard and figured that they were inside either watching TV or playing video games.

I looked at Kilatine and saw that she was starting to get a bit nervous again about going inside with them. I rubbed her side gently and that helped her calm down while she took a deep breath and exhaled some. That helped her calm down completely and she looked at me with a soft smile. She looked like a completely different dragon now since she wasn’t with the hierarchy anymore. We both headed inside and heard the TV in the living room on with a movie playing. I walked over to the living room and looked in and saw everybody in there watching a movie with snacks and drinks on the end tables. I shook my head as they had raided the pantry for snacks to eat while watching TV and I had to do a bit of cleaning when it was all over. I looked around and saw that Shrike, Vallen, and Fetho were laying on the floor In the middle of the living room watching TV as they had snacks of their own from Dragonia. I smirked a bit and looked at what they were watching and saw that it was one of the Resident Evil movies. It was a good series and I decided to let them finish watching it while I went to find a room for Kilatine. I looked at her and saw that she was starting to explore the place and went to catch up with her.

I caught up with her quickly as she looked at me and smiled lightly at me. She looked to be starting to get used to being back inside a building instead of living outside or sleeping in a dank dark cave. I started to show her around the house some so that she could get used to where everything was and the layout of the place. She was a bit surprised that the house was big enough for dragons to fit into along with having a nice sized library. She started to look around some as it was still smaller than the one back at the castle, but still a good size for a personal library. She looked at me a little amazed before walking into the library to look at the books we had. I followed her into the library while she was looking around at the books and started to take a couple books out to look through them. She started to look through one book and blinked a bit before looking through it. It looked like she was having a hard time trying to figure out what type of book it was and seemed to be looking at a foreign language. I walked over to her and looked at the book as it was one of the books we got from Terondia. I chuckled lightly at her expression and she closed the book and shook her head before putting it back.

“What kind of language is that?” she asked.

“It’s the dragon language, I’m surprised you haven’t learned it yet,” I said.

“Dragon Language? I’ve heard a strange language be talked back when I was with the hierarchy, but that was only with the upper ranks, mainly with Krishna, Charna, and a few others,” she said.

“That’s strange, they probably didn’t want anybody else to know what they were talking about. But I can help you learn the language if you want, it’ll open up a whole new world for you in reading,” I said with a smile.

She smiled and gave me a quick nod to wanting to learn a new language. I started to look around the library some for the right book that’ll help her understand the language to a point. She looked around with me not knowing what to actually look for before I found the right book and pulled it out. She blinked and looked at the book as it didn’t look that thick as I looked through it some and smiled. The book was a child’s learning book on the Dragonian language and it was the best thing to help her get started. It said a word that’s in the English language than said the same word in the Dragonian language along with how it should be said. It was about fifty pages long with very easy words to learn. There were even pictures in the book of different animals on earth along with a few animals common in Dragonia that aren’t common here on earth.

I looked around the children section again and grabbed a few other books as well and looked through them. Each book were children’s story books with easy words as well and was written in the dragon language also. I looked at her and saw that she was starting to get curious at what books I was getting for her to read. I smiled and got a few of the same children books out that were in English so it would be easier for her to learn and probably quicker. I would help her out with learning how to speak the draconian language so she could get a good start on it. I walked over to the small fireplace we had as there were chairs and a couch around it with a coffee table. There were also some pillows around the chairs for anyone that was a quad to lay down on and relax. I put the books down on the coffee table while she laid down on one of the nearby pillow. I opened up the one kid’s learning book for her and turned it to the page while looking at her.

“How come you got me children books to read,” she asked.

“Well, this is the best way to learn how to read and speak the Draconian language Kilatine. We have to take it one step at a time,” I said.

“Oh okay. Well than, shall we get started? I’m very curious on how to speak this language,” she said with a smile.

I smiled and started to work on helping her learn the language. It would take a little while at first because she was having a little trouble with the slight lisp in her voice that she still had. We spent a good amount of time in the library as I was starting to lose track of what time it was while teaching her. She was getting the hang of it rather quickly after going through the first learning book and we were on the last children book that I had pulled out for her to read. She got done reading the last book and looked at me smiling happily about being able to learn a new language so quickly. The draconian language is a bit hard at first to get to know but once getting into the learning part, it starts to become easy. I got up and went to put the books up while she went around the library again to look around at what else she could read.

I looked over at her while putting the books away and saw that she was looking for more to read. It was a good sight to see her actually be able to relax and not have to worry about having to please the hierarchy anymore. After putting the books away I decided to get a couple more books out for her to enjoy and walked over to a fantasy section. I looked through the books and grabbed a few out for her to start reading and walked over to her. She stopped what she was doing and looked at me before blushing some when she saw me with the books. I chuckled lightly before walking back to the fireplace with her and sat the books down on the coffee table for her. She laid down and got comfortable again and picked a book up before starting to read again. She seemed more confident now in reading the books from Terondia. I quietly left the library to go see how the others were doing with watching the movie. I went downstairs and heard the TV still on and some talking from them.

I got downstairs and went into the living room and saw that they were watching another movie now and laughing some at what was going on in it. I didn’t see Farm in the living room and didn’t know where he was and decided to go into the kitchen. I figured he was getting something while I went in there and saw that Farm was getting something to snack on. I smiled and went over to the fridge and looked in it to see what was there to snack on and got out some of the food that was still good.

“Hey Zilla, how’s our new guest doing?” he asked.

“She’s doing fine, she’s going to be staying here for a bit while her brother and sister get everything situated,” I said and looked at him smiling.

“That’s good, where is she now? We heard you come in a while ago and disappear upstairs,” he asked.

“Oh, she’s up in our little library doing some reading. She’ll probably be up there for a little while,” I said.

He nodded and started to eat the sandwich he made while I got some juice to drink. I was starting to relax again and started to think on that one dragon that I saw earlier. I couldn’t put my finger on why he was watching me or why I saw my grandfather. I kept thinking on it and shook my head lightly not wanting to put two and two together about the possibility of the dragon being able to disguise himself as a human. It wasn’t that possible without a good amount of magic to do it temporarily. I looked out the window and smiled as it was still sunny outside as there were a few clouds floating in the sky. I was glad that nothing bad was happening at the moment so that everything could settle down. The day has been a little hectic, especially when Kilatine came here and in bad condition. It was good that nobody got seriously hurt when the incident happened or it would’ve been on the news. While I was relaxing and looking outside. I saw some movement coming from the tree line and quickly focused on it. I went wide eyed when I saw Krishna slowly come out of the woods along with a dragoness.

The dragoness was deep green in color with brown breastplates. She had a pair of brown horns as well along with having a row of spikes going down her back that looked to be black in color. She had a short mane of fur on her head going down to the base of her neck and I saw that it was silver in color. She didn’t have a tail blade or anything but had some fur on the tip of her tail that was silver in color as well. She looked to be the same size as Krishna and was staying very close to him. I frowned a little bit and set my glass down before going to the back door. I heard Farm cough a little bit before following me as well while I opened the door and went outside. I stood on the back porch and glared at him while I clenched my hands into fists. I went to say something when we heard wings flapping overhead. We quickly looked up and went wide eyed when we saw a bigger dragon coming down for a landing. I recognized the dragon as the one from before as I was starting to get the same feeling I had from before as well.

“What are you doing here, and who is this dragon Krishna,” I said with a growl.

“What, don’t you recognize your own grandfather, Adeodatus, or should I say, Jeff,” the one dragon said.

We went wide eyed as I started to shake, that dragon was my grandfather. That was impossible to be him since he had died years ago and my dad had to fly out for his funeral. We heard commotion inside as I glanced back at the house and saw the others come out quickly but stop seeing Krishna and the other two. I still had the look of shock on my face and looked back at them as both Krishna and the one dragon were grinning still. Farm was in shock as well as I started to regain my composure.

“You can’t be my grandfather from my dad’s side, he died years ago when I was still a child,” I said.

“Oh, but he is brother. You see, Azarath did a special spell on him when he was starting to fade and put him suspended animation. When he was buried, Azarath created a portal and got him before putting him in a special solution that would help make his body stronger while the transformation took place over the course of a week,” Krishna said with a grin.

“But that’s impossible, I saw him in heaven,” I said.

“Oh, that was my weak human half, I’m completely feral young grandson. And I go by the name Kurvo now,” the one dragon said.

“But that’s impossible, no one could do that to anybody,” Pez said.

“Well, Azarath did, and now we’re here to talk with you, and to collect that little traitor,” Kurvo said.

“You’ll never get her back, she’s staying here with us. And if you have a problem with that, you can try to get through us,” I said.

They all growled as Krishna slowly made his way towards us. I took a few steps forward as it seemed that Krishna wanted to talk to me personally. The one dragoness that was with him looked to be his mate and I didn’t know how long he and she had been with each other. But by the way she was acting, they’ve been together for a good while. We both got to the middle of the yard that was a good distance from the house and tree line as he was still in his quad form. He looked at me and had a bit of an evil grin on his muzzle waiting for me to say something. I clenched my fists and suddenly and without warning punched him in the side of his muzzle. I didn’t use my full strength at all as he yelped out and went flying to the side and landed with a thud and skidded across the ground. A bit of blood was coming out of his muzzle as I quickly shifted to my quad form and jumped at him. Before he could react and get up, I pinned him down on the ground with a paw. He growled and started to thrash around some trying to get free while the others went wide eyed. Kurvo and the one dragoness growled and I looked over at the two of them with a bit of a glare.

The dragoness stepped forward and looked to be about to charge at me when Kurvo lifted a paw in front of her to stop her. He looked down at her and shook his head warning her that this was between me and Krishna. I looked down at Krishna as he was still struggling to get free as I applied pressure on him and he suddenly stopped. He looked at me and saw the anger flaming in my eyes as it was no anger he had seen before. He actually started to shake some as I started to growl lowly and lowered my head towards him. He stopped shaking while looking at me while I could smell the fear coming from him.

“You are in very bad trouble becausssse of thissss Krisssshna. You violated the resssting place of our grandfather and brought him back assss a dragon. Thissss issss on your head assss much assss it issss on Azarath’ssss head. If you think you’re exempt from anything that issss to come, you are wrong. You aren’t even exempt from Charna and the other headssss of the hierarchy from taking any children that you and your mate have and training them to be cold blooded killersssss. If I were you, I would get out while you sssstill can and sssstill have what little humanity and sssssenssse you have left. For if you don’t I will hunt you down perssssonally, brother or not,” I whispered and took my paw off of him.

I stepped back from him as he quickly got up from where he was. There were a few trickles of blood coming off of where I had my paw on him as my claws dug into him slightly and between his scales. He shivered looking at me and slinked back towards his mate and our grandfather before looking back at me. I snorted a bit at him and motioned my head for him to get going. He shivered and let out a short growl before spreading his wings and took off with the other two taking off right behind him. I sighed heavily and slowly calmed down while closing my eyes. That was the first time that I had ever gone feral in my life and I was glad that I was able to control it to an extent. I slowly shifted back to my anthro form and walked back towards the house as Farm and the others were staring at me wide eyed. Even Vallen, Shrike, and Fetho were shocked at what I did.

“Zilla, are you okay. You seemed a bit wild back there when you punched him,” Ian said a bit worriedly.

“Yeah, did you actually go feral,” Sam asked.

“I’ll be fine guys, I just need some time to relax and clear my mind,” I said and slowly went inside.

“That’s good Adeo, we hope you’ll be able to get pass this,” Fetho said.

“Yeah,” Vallen and Shrike said at the same time.

I nodded while heading into the house and slowly going upstairs. This day went from good to bad to worse in just a few hours. I was exhausted now from what happened as I went into my bedroom and closed the door. I didn’t even know how to tell mom and dad that grandpa Hunyor is still alive and was turned into a full feral dragon. That would break their hearts, especially dad since he was at his funeral. And if grandma found out, she would become distraught and break down crying. Everything was going through my head at a rapid pace and I couldn’t think of what to do with everything that was going on. It was too much to take in and I had to try to clear my head. The one thing that I was glad about was that Rydrak wasn’t here. If he was, something bad could’ve happened. He is excellent at levitating stuff and could’ve potentially levitated something like swords and threw them at Krishna. I closed my eyes and slowly started to fall asleep hoping that everything would be okay after getting a bit of sleep to help clear my head.
