Been wanting to draw the 2021 MechaGodzilla for a while, but BOY! He was HARD! The details, the shapes, but it was a nice challenge. Also, I changed his dorsal plate a bit in terms of size and shape to look a bit different. Originally, I was going to have him fight against the 2010 Megatron from Transformers Prime, but I was having trouble drawing Megatron. So, I decided to draw him fighting Metal Overlord from Sonic Heroes, but in a more kaiju-like form. For those of you who have followed me for years might recall I drew my own version of Metal Overlord MK II back in Jan 2020. Well, I decided to modify that version a bit and make him more kaiju-like. For the joints, I thought those of MechaGodzilla 2 and 3 would be the most practical. I gave Metal Overlord some Kaiju legs so that he can hold his own more in a fight. The wings I changed to be more realistic and practical. I decided to do something similar to Mecha King Ghidrorah's wings, but still keep it a bit distinct. I made his wings a bit like those sails on Chinese Junk ships. For Metal Overlord's power core, I made it to where he utilizes the Chaos Emeralds or Master Emerald. Like how Eggman did for his machines in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

So, with that out of the way, the question remains: "Who will win? The Hollow Earth Powered MechaGodzilla or the Chaos Powered Metal Overlord MK II?"
