Initially, the Azen Empire meant to spread its power by goodwill, utilizing its array of biological advancements to help poorer colonies and spacer nations fight off diseases or replenish population decline. Poor colonies joined willingly for the support provided.
However, the scientist turned emperor's ideals shifted by the later years of the 2600's. Unity became the means to an end. He would bring about a new golden age of mankind. It would be his empire to save a stagnant mankind. At any cost.
