Little Mac is the protagonist of the Punch-Out!! series and the face of the series. He has appeared in every game in one way or another, sometimes sporting a new look. The name "Little Mac" didn't make an appearance until the NES version.

Little Mac is Fighter #49 debuting in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U as the fifth new character announced. He's appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an assist trophy, but became the first to be promoted to a full fighter in the next game.
