This was the first picture of Kimchiburger I ever saw. And the picture tat made me love this pairing. I was actually shipping this before I even saw Hetalia (I thought Korea was a girl back then tho) and when I saw the show I was disappointed that this wasn't a canon ship. Too many feels for Me! I can't take it

Haha I know right! TTvTT I actually found out that before Korea came out as a character Himaruya was planning on making him a girl that liked singing and had a quiet obsession with America WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT!! But he decided to change it later on TToTT Hima liked his own design of the girl Korea so much that he took it and used it in another comic he made where there is a Japanese boy that meets a Korean girl and they eventually fall in love or something. I don't remember the name of the comic, but it really bummed me out when I heard that. America x fem!Korea could have been that much closer to being canon!! ; v ;

Well Hima isn't allowed to put Korea in the show because the actual country of South Korea banned him from doing so. Originally when Hima put YongSoo in the comics he made him an offensive representation of Korean people so they banned Hetalia from Korea and they made it so he couldn't use Korea as a character in his comic or anime again. And that's why you don't see much of YongSoo anymore. You see, if he just made Korea like he was originally planning, as a girl that just liked singing and kind of liked America and stuff, he would have been fine.
Ugh... though it's a common thing with Japanese people from Japan itself to look down on Koreans... Even the mangaka of Attack on Titan thinks that Korea deserved to be ruled by Japan when they were because he thought it bettered their economy.. But in reality the Japanese during that time killed, raped, and overworked many Koreans. If it weren't for World War II, Korea would still have been ruled under their horrid cruelty. Anyways that's a whole different story that I don't need to tell, but it just makes me mad how inconsiderate of Korean people they are...

Thank you very much. Sadly though I must warn you, Kimchiburger is not a common pairing. For one thing, it's an APH (Axis Powers Hetalia) pairing that is quite hard to find and another, is that these two are hard to find together as a heterosexual couple. You'll actually end up finding more homo then het so.. I may be one of the only people you'll see this pairing appear from. Just letting you know ahead of time before you go searching this up and end up seeing something you may not like
