for god's sake this page and its partner took me four days overall please don't just fave and run this time UmUpage 2: [link]
you know when you’re listening to a song and you make up a music video in your mind? this is a storyboard for something like that, only i actually decided to draw it out because this particular sequence really stuck in my mind. this is to Welcome Home by Radical Face [link] . i’m not sure how many pages there’ll be to this, but i’m expecting about ten.
this is set right after the end of the war, with everyone going back to their normal lives. there’s extra focus on the clear sky, the poisonous clouds having receded. the powerpuff girls and the eds in particular have panels together because of the canon plot of edd and eddy losing track of ed (even though he was actually just at the jungle base) and buttercup going missing for a year and being presumed dead. they’re all just happy to have made it through together.
the next sections should focus on the kids next door and the dexlabs/mandark industries! if anyone wants textless versions i’ll be happy to post those too.
please tell me what you think! these took me a couple of days to sketch and ink to satisfaction and a day and a half to colour with over thirty layers so please oh god i need feedback please please please!

I like this, particularly the colors and the body language on Ben as he kicks back (probably for the first time in ages) atop the Rust Bucket. I get the sense he's not going to move for a very long time, and while you can't see it, I'd say he's smiling faintly as he enjoys the quiet. You manage to convey a lot about the character of each Powerpuff Girl by their stances, too. Nicely done. I look forward to the rest of the pages.
