I'm not a good writer, but I've been entertaining a story idea where Numbuh 1 comes back to Earth and his home town after five or six years and assumes all his friends have been decommissioned. While that is true for Numbuhs 2-4, Numbuh 5 stayed on in the KND as an undercover teen agent, but assumes Nigel himself has had his memory wiped after leaving the Galactic KND. The two awkwardly make friends with each other and their old teammates all over again in high school until they both realise they've remembered all along.

I can't stop drawing these two as best friends, they're just perfect. There's not even anything romantic about them, they're just so comfortable together.
