I posted a little WIP of this drawing on my Facebook page some days ago~
I finally found a little more time to put colors on Edgar
Remember him ? (I doodled him once !)
He's one of the main character of From Across a Foreign Shore (our manga with Akusei).
Yup his name is quite close to Edward^^ (Ed+Ed <3). He is part of the Steamdog (the boat) crew !
He definitely looks like the perfect guy : smart, intelligent, strong, cheerful, etc... (Maddy will fall in love for him !). But through the story he will show his weaknesses ... And his love for automaton +w+
Well.... ! I'm blablabling too much here oAo' Anyway I really had to choose "his colors" because he will appear on chapter 2 cover ^w^

I must admit that I stared at his outfit for a loooong while. It was like... You know, that time we have in our lives, where we just stare and stare and simply wonder... 'How does one design an amazing, original and beautiful outfit? Mystery...'. Honestly. I see all these amazing, unique designs and I want to eat my ears. Like really. Edgar is a very beautiful character (I like his hair a lot, it seems rufflable!), but that outfit.... Ugh... honestly. It is gorgeus.... Ok, no more stalking of your character. I won't strip him and steal those... *sighs longishly* amazing clothes... He is beautiful, and I like him.
Edgar hasn't appeared as far as I have read in FAFs. We saw two other guys from the Steamdog crew, and Rona as well, but Edgar hasn't shown up. I am looking forward into meeting and learning more about him!

I must admit that I've spent a looooot of time on his outfit design (I drew it and re drew it again x_x)~ I'm glad you like his clothes so ^^
Yes, his hait is totally ruffable XD I'm happy it looks like this on the drawing because it's the case!). he will appear in chapter 2 (he will even be on the cover with Ed and Maddy). I can't wait to show more about him in the story.. Because he's special to me ! Akusei and I worked hard on his past, his personality, his hobby, his future... His evolution in the story ! (gosh.. It will take years to do XD)
He is Rona fiancé yup^^ And it's a kind of spoil because it won't be shown at the begining (even after.. their romance is important but we won't show a lot about it~). he will also habe complicated feelings (not really love) for Edward and well..... ! ^__^
About automata, you'll see as well^^ There are different kinds of them~ the full oneshot is about important types of automata. It will be readable here on dA if we're not selected or on Jump website if we are ^3^

Owww! Damn and I tried to keep spoilers >3< but you had drawn them together, so I though it's ok. I am sorry about that! >//< His clothes are perfect! Perfect I tell you!. Kyaaaa!!!! complicated feelings! I love those! They give depth and interest to characters! I can't wait to read more! Oh by the way! Page 8 was in twice, and one of the two had a speechbubble in french, and page 26 was in french! I don't mind those of course, but if you are to send it for printing, watch this out!
Edgar is very beautiful, and seeing your love and your work on him, I can't wait to learn more and more!
