“Silly girl. Didn’t your mum ever tell you that meddling in affairs that are of no concern to you was a bad idea,” Gregory Blythe laughed at me.

I wanted to reply that he’d obviously never met my mum, but the rag in my mouth kept in place by a white cloth pulled over my lips meant all I could muster was a garbled, “Yyymmm nnnvvv mmmttt mmggg mmm!”

To my left my best friend Rachel was grunting furiously behind her own gag, her long raven hair swishing around her body as Gregory’s suited assistant fixed the ropes keeping her body pressed against the chair. She was wriggling at full strength, her high heels scraping the floor as she fought the ropes pinning her ankles and knees together. I found myself envious of her boots as the ropes wound about my legs in similar positions rubbed my skin uncomfortably through my tights.

I narrowed my eyes angrily at Gregory Blythe, a corrupt administrator who had recently overseen the bankruptcy of a local distribution firm. The firm had only gone under because he and his gang of dodgy investors had siphoned off all its assets illegally and stored them in offshore accounts. Rachel and I had come to this office to search for evidence, and had found some on a computer left behind, but we’d been discovered by Gregory and his goon before we’d made our escape. Hence why Rach and I were now tied up and gagged.

“What do we do with these two?” the goon asked as he checked the knots keeping me in my seat.

“First we go dispose of this evidence, then we come back to make sure they won’t go blabbing our secret,” Gregory sneered. “We might as well take our time. I think these ladies will still be here when we get back.”

“NNNMMMM LLLTTT SSSS GGGMMM!” Rachel roared at them, even as our captors swaggered away with the laptop computer we’d discovered tucked under Gregory’s arm. They slammed the office door loudly, abandoning Rachel and I in the deserted office.

I looked at Rachel, she looked at me, and then I said to her through my gag, “Llltttss gggttt tttt ffff hrrr!” She nodded at me, and we then began bouncing and bucking about in our seats, fighting our bonds with everything we had, all the while hoping the other CGDA members would come find us before it was too late.
