Lions and lionesses alike pray to this god before they leave for their hunts- as the patron god of the hunt, he ensures safety, success, and plenty of food. However, he is an honorable god who requires honorable hunters if his blessing is sought. Those who hunt using trickery, kill more than necessary, and a poor choice of targets are more likely to meet their swift demise. The dual nature of this god is represented by the prey animal parts of his body- the hooves on his back legs, the jutting tusks from his mouth, and the skull and horns of a buffalo upon his head.
