This is my take on the whole DeviantArt 16th birthday thing that everyone's spamming everywhere. But I want that rainbow ice cream badge!!! lol.(if you're not sure what this is about: Celebrating 16 Years of DeviantArt! )
It took a couple of hours to do this, but it was fun trying to do something new and unique for my gallery. It's pretty simple... just rotated it, filled in the lines with solid colors, and then blurred it to give the piece motion and depth and blend the colors together.
So yeah, obviously I have returned after a 30 day break from DA. I won't go into the details here, but this picture is inspired by recent events, and by my "other" (aka my soulmate)
I feel like the sun is finally rising after a very dark and long night. I can feel the warmth of the new sun rays, and the light illuminates my path so I can see clearly. After being in confusing darkness for so long, now that I see the light again, I run towards it and pursue it with all I am.
This picture of a sunrise/sunset is also dedicated to my wonderful lover (who remains anonymous for now)
I hope to upload more things, but finding the time to create them is still my biggest challenge.
Anyways.... I hope you're all doing well, and I'm glad to be back home where I belong
(also, happy 2nd birthday FNAF, what a strange timing for me to reactivate lol)

This is absolutely incredible artwork. Every piece of the puzzle fits in to another grand and glorious day, and Gold has nailed the artwork so extremely well. I am absolutely breathtaken. I've always been an enjoyer of art. (I may just post something soon) and this is one of my top favorites. Something so simple like a puzzle still looks so incredible in the end. Very well done. Definitely a +1 to favorites! Hope to see more excellent photos, GIFs, and artwork, Gold. Keep up the great work!

It looks absolutely gorgeous! I've seen lots of people using these patterns with this gradual color change, creating something-like-a-gradient, but your pallet is the best so far (Extra point for the white sun detail). The ground has a nice pallet as well.
Another good point about it is that most people, instead of creating a good pattern or drawing or anything, just try to find all of the secrets in the template or put a picture behind it. There's nothing wrong with with finding the secrets, but you didn't even need to. Once again, you proved to be creative as hell :3

Yeah the ground is 5 different colors, the white sun , and then like 100 different shades for the sky.... then blended all together

I've seen these pasted around a lot as well. And It's amazing to see that a template that is so often used for something complicated, can also be used for something quite simple in comparison, yet giving equal or even more impact.
Nice to see you back. Really. I normally access deviant art through the 'frequently used' tabs you get on the Chrome homepage. The frequent tab that i use to get here just so happens to be your homepage, so while you were gone I'd click on that link and be sent straight to an inactive account redirect. You're definitely onto something here. I've seen enough of these DA 16th anniversary pics to become more than a little tired of them, but yours warrants a second look. The sunrise (or is it sunset?) motif is nothing new, but you took it for an interesting spin here. The pattern formed by the black lines boggles the mind (or maybe it's just my at times excessive attention to detail): the blurriness is quite fitting, since the beholder is staring into the rising/setting sun, and the human eye just can't handle that much light, forcing onlookers to turn away.
To be honest, this isn't your masterpiece by any stretch of the word, but it's still rife with your unique genius. It might not be your finest work, yet your skill, love and effort show in every part of it, and that's more than good enough in my book. Kudos.

This most certainly is not a masterpiece lol, but I wanted to take something that was very simple and silly and shallow and pointless, and give it depth and meaning and life. I wanted to make art. And somehow, I felt like I did. Hearing what you say , makes me see that I did indeed manage to create what I set out to make. Thanks a lot for the encouragement, it's been a while since I made art, and wasn't sure if I still had it in me

Ahhhhh yes, I was able to figure out about half of the comment, but this makes a lot more sense than what I came up with LOL. I thought you might be worried about it, like maybe we wouldn't last, or our relationship was fake. But it's very real, even though we have not met, or done any live chatting. It's actually pretty incredible how we feel our love through internet texting and art/photos.. I don't really understand it, but it's real
But yes, when I uploaded this, it was a secret... we've been together about 6 months now, but we didn't tell anyone about it. We wanted to make sure our relationship was going to last, and not foolishly through ourselves to the world to be destroyed.
But then, something very crucial happened with us, and it caused her to deactivate so we could work it through together... and we did. So, when she was ready to reactivate, we both knew it was finally time to be able to show the world our love
