OK, so everyone should have seen Scott's new teaser by now.

I was not going to write about this originally (so forgive me for rushing this journal), since I figured that literally everyone knows about the news by now, but the way people are announcing it and reacting to it disturbs me. I thought we were better than this, but I guess not.

Literally everywhere I go today, everyone I've seen is spamming memes like and saying that Scott is milking the series and beating a dead horse. Even people who have "left" the FNAF fandom and have decided to pop back in just to put in their discouraging, even hating, opinions. It's so bad, that I feel people are hating JUST because it has become cool to hate, as some kind of herd mentality.

Well guess what? It doesn't matter what anyone thinks! Scott is clearly going to do what Scott is going to do! The amount of hate that he's getting for doing what we all really knew he would do is incredible. Who are you to say what Scott can and cannot do with his own game series or life? If you hate it so much, then just move on and go away! Jeez. The only ones beating the dead horse by now are the haters. Every new game, it's the same, with the hypocritical milking and money jokes and the horse beating. It's not funny anymore. (though, some of what I've seen about it has been very tastefully done, so I'm not talking about that. Valid opinions are fine, if you are still genuinely in the fandom)

You can announce your intentions of leaving FNAF in a mature way, that's fine. There's nothing wrong with losing interest, and no one needs to judge you for being into FNAF just for its popularity. But if you have already moved on and made it clear that you're done with FNAF content before, then why are you going to even mention, post, or animate about this new teaser announcement? I guess you really AREN'T done with FNAF or have left the fandom, have you? lol. It only makes it look like you're just milking the FNAF hate yourself, and it makes it seem like you really have no life (which is probably true though, and there's nothing wrong with having no life )

I am personally NOT interested in buying or playing whatever game this is at this point. However, I am very happy to see this announcement. Why? Because I feel like Scott should keep the spirit of FNAF alive however he likes, for his TRUE real fans. Even if it's not the same "FNAF" that we're used to, it does still remind me of the good days and original things that I loved about FNAF to begin with. And who knows, there might always be some new things of interest that come out of it.

Those of us who still love the earlier FNAF games can still love them and make content for them and whatnot. I know I sure will. The good FNAF fandom is still alive and well, even if you can't see it. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with liking the FNAF series, or being a fan of Scott.

But for those of you who are sick of FNAF.... that's perfectly fine. Move on with life. There's more out there than FNAF... or hating on FNAF. This is how it's going to be, so get used to it. Ignore or say no to people who ask you to make FNAF content or any content that you don't want to make. No reason to beat the dead horse yourself, and fill the world with even more hate and negativity. To make people feel bad for something they truly enjoy is probably one of the most belittling, immature things you can do.

I'm sorry.... but someone has to stand up for and represent the people who are excited about Scott's new announcement. And with the way my life is going, I don't even care if people agree with or hate me for this anymore. I'm so fed up with all of the mess as it is.

It's like 2016 is shaping up to be the "Year of the Drama". lol
