Description
The Lazuli Dragonfly is a pygmy dragon that lives in wetlands and around rivers. Nocturnal by nature, they feed on mosquitoes and starlight, and are easiest to spot on full moon winter nights. Hunted nearly to extinction at the end of the last century by fairies, who prize their wings and use them in jewelry, eventually some Big Dragons noticed and told the fairies to "stop that." Since then their numbers have recovered dramatically.My last piece of art for 2009, and my first submission of 2010: Happy New Year everyone! May this little guy bring you good luck!

Sorry, I found it amusing when you typed the "stop that" in your comments. I love the idea of them! Are they in a novel or story? If not they should be. I bet the superstition of these little fellows would be that catching one brings good luck or their wings do.
