OH MY GOOOOOD This was so much harder than Cydus's oh jeez. But it was FUN!!! I love doing under lighting so much!!

I had SO much fun doing One Shadow that I HAD to make one for Hazel! She doesn't have a lot of art anyway so this was perfect!! I might even make another one for Cat!

I suppose sense this is Hazels second official picture I should explain a little bit of back-story and what not~ so, ehem...

Hazel Grim is part of the Grim family which is a big fancy noble family now that lives in a town at the eastern end of Fiore. The family first became important with two wizards, Aaron and Argon Grim, twin boys with a knack for and obsession with magic. They were smart dudes and they loved MAKING magic.... or at least trying to... Making magic is no easy thing you see but the boys dived head first into the challenge.

They spent many many years trying to make new magic and on several occasions it literally blew up in their faces. One brother gave up after finding a nice lady and settling down with her. But the other brother kept on going cause yeah DETERMINATION IS IMPORTANT. The man was incredibly old when he finally managed to make SPIRITS. No not the alcohol. These spirits were similar to Lucy's celestial ones, except for obvious differences:

These spirits were man made. They didn't have keys, they were all kept in one book- The Grimoire. The spirits were based off of Fairy Tale fables; Cinderella, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, ECT... And the most obvious difference: Because these spirits were basically the first to ever be made by humans they were FLAWED. Many of the spirits are not "stable" and can easily be triggered to go berserk and out of control. Because of this one singular fatal flaw the old twin who actually made the spirits was murdered by his creation.

After that the spirits all scattered around Fiore, hiding inside people and objects or animals- anything they could. The other brother who still lived, his grandson took on the responsibility to become the first Page Master.

The Page Master is a person from the Grim Family who travels the continent carrying around the Grimoire just so they can seal up all the lost spirits. There can only be ONE Page Master and they can only be from the Grim Family. They must have Aaron and Argon's blood flowing through their veins.

When each Page Master dies the spirits are released from the book once again and must be collected. This happens as a side effect of their being humanly made. They are not bound by their book, they can't however interact with anything without their Page Master no matter how hard they may try.

Hazel's grandfather was the last Page Master and with his death the book was past down to her. Her father was dead and her mother is married into the family, because Hazel was an only child the responsibility was past down to her. Hazel received her empty book at the age of nine and was completely against being the Page Master. It wasn't until she was eleven and found her Companion Euflamm, the dragon slain by King Arthur, did she start looking for the spirits. Euf told her the spirits wanted to be found, they longed to serve their Page Master.

Hazel is 21 years old in the current arc of Fairy Tail, she may be joining a guild called Angelic Embrace (viscount-s-t-guilds.deviantart… ) and currently holds six spirits.

Alright! With that done I suppose I should be heading off to start on the next piece! But before I go, See that link up there? That's a new group of Fan guilds started by me and my Nee-chan, XxKyubey-CobraxX . I would really appreciate it if you went and joined to help us get started. The group was literally made a few days ago so were hoping to get it going eventually.
