life on the streets grew harder with the village falling into misfortune and yokai becoming strangely crueler whispers of a change, a new world where coming, and hanako almost considered joining this new world order brewing beneath until a chance encounter with ena, one of the middle yureimoto sisters changed her life...by getting her adopted.

hanako is a sarcastic bitter girl for her age, jaded by a hard life and witnessing what people will do to survive, hanako is unused to affection or trust from anyone, which puts her at odds with her mother, the ever sweet and naive ena, though hanako often finds ena's excitement and positive outlook overbearing and annoying she does care deeply for her adopted mother, and does not take people trash talking her lightly, hanako is heavily self reliant to the point where she can often be found figureing ways to get cash on the side, she dislikes "charity" from others and often feels uncomfortable with accepting money or food from others though she never says no to it.
