Description
Heathertail paused at the edge of the moorland, allowing the rest of the border patrol to get ahead of her. She stared into the trees, wondering where Lionblaze was, what he was doing. She still missed the golden tomcat, despite everything that had happened between them, and she longed to race through the trees and find him. She'd never let any cat know it, especially not Lionblaze himself, but deep down, she still loved him.This thing has been sitting on my flash drive for a year, it's about time I finished it!
I did the eye, nose, and background back in June 2009 and finished the fur today. 
I wouldn't call it my best cat art ever, but I like it fine. The eye is probably my favorite. I love Heathertail's eye color... 
I used a reference but I can't find it now.

This is a wonderful picture sweetie. I love the texture of fur, and the eye coloration. <3 Fantastic work! Even more so with the story line. Also - The background though simple truly brings out the cat's fur and eye color. Great job sweetie!
