'a sunny day suddenly gone dark..what a pity!' you think to yourself as you dash through the rainin an attempt to get home before the worst of the storm hits. but before long its raining to hard to continue.
lost and afraid,you look through the down pour,desprate for..anything really..
suddenly you can make out a small glowing light and,warily,you run twards it
thunder rumbles in the distance as you finnally arrive at your destination,an old,dark and rickety mantion in the middle of a large unkept
garden and yard. as you approch the door,the steps creak under your weight and its obvious they havn't been used in years.
unsure wheather anyone even LIVES here you stand there for a moment,contemplating knocking on the door or just walking right it.
you'd MUCH rather be home right now,but infortunatley thats not an opption. so,gathering your courage,you knock on the old wooden door
and slowly,it opens with a destressed creaking noise.
for a moment,all you can see in the door way is blackness,but as your eyes adjust to the dark,you become aware of a small black filly standing in the door
she is wearing a torn and well aged bow and spiderwebs dangle from her long unkept mane
"...yes?" she says after a moment of scilence.
" u-um,hello there..i-i was wondering if i could hide out here until the rain stops.." you pause for a moment,choosing your words carefully
"erm..where..am i exactly?" you ask nervously. she stares at you for a long time in scilence before blinking slowly and responding "raven hollow manor."
then,seeing your confused look,she sighs and adds "this is RAVEN HOLLOW MANOR.and as for coming inside,im not sure that is allowed seeing as.." she looks you
up and down "your YOU and not...US" she spits bitterly,about to close the door "w-wait! please! i promise i won't be a bother..to you-" "to US" she corrects you,looking annoyed
"uh..right..so can i stay?" sighing,she steps aside into the darkness "i suppose you may.. For now.."
you gulp and take your first step inside the building.
quickly,you blink. attempting to get used to the dark lighting in the mantion
"..ehem.." coughs the filly. you turn your head to see her,standing not to far away stroking a very large very FURRY spider,the sight sends shivers down your spine and you
begin wondering about your chances out in the rain
"i suppose i should introduce my self.." she sighs "im arachnianna..anyway,feel free to...look around. but be carefull..i hope you are aware of how..INTERESTING our other resiedents are.."
she smirks at you as you begin to explore "right..well,thanks-!" you reply as scincerly as you can muster. "mmhmm..anytime.." she mutters,too derstracted with her spider to say anything more
