OHHH MY GOSH THIS CAME OUT SO WELL!!!! I was SO not expecting something so super duper freakin' amazing and oh my word it's AWESOME. WOW. The environment is SO CRAZY COOL I just ooomg loveloveLOVE it!!!
SO OKAY ALL THE DETAILS. I love the colors omg there's so much GREEN. Green eeeverywhere and it's alpine and AMAZING. I love the casually cloudy sky and the rocky gorgeous mountains omg I LOVE those damn perfect mountains. WOW. And all the rocks. And trees. And bushes. LEAVES. THERE ARE LEAVES EVERYWHERE. AHHHHH. So those TREES. Those AMAZING pine trees! Oh my GOD. WOW. The little needles and layers of gorgeousness UGH. SO many perfect handpainted TREES!!! I LOVE them!! I could look at them all DAY!!!
AND I LOVE. LOVE. THOSE BUSHES. How do you make such amazing foliage??? I'm genuinely curious and VERY jealous hahaha. The little leaves are simply AMAZING. AHHHH. And I love the scrubby grassy land with all the little rocks ugh there are rocks EVERYWHERE. This environment looks SO so natural. UGH.
AND YOU DID SUCH A GOOD JOB WITH THE WATER. OH MY GOD. The flat bits and the bits near the shore and ALL THE SPLASHING SPLASHIES. Omg I'm so jealous of your water too haaahahaha. LOOK AT ALL THE DRIPPIES. MY GOD. The direction on the water is super-amazing too. WOW. The water is so PRETTY.

I LOVE how she came out! Her pose is so *JUBILANT*!! She's so happy and amazing and oh my godddd. I love her big splashy feet and all her fuzzies and HER EYES omg those perfect amber orbs of joy. AND HER STRIPES ARE SO LOVELY. Her face patterning is SO awesome, even though it's not even in her refsheet haaahaha. And her ear notchie is so much fun and she is so FLUFFY. Omg her neck and tummy and TAIL TUFT OMG. Ugh so FUZZY. Little tufts of fur and joy. She's so fluffy and it's so amazing. I really love it. And her mouth is so happy and toothy and her nose is pink UUUGH. Omg. I just. She's amazing.
uuugh this is so so gorgeous. Thank you SO so much for the trade!! I'm actually gearing up to take a shower and make some coffee and crank on the background of my half tonight! So it should be done soon! Thank you again!!

I am super happy you like it~ Regarding all the foliage... Well, I guess it all came from plant studies. Once you learned how to draw plants, with all their parts, and not just through using shaped brushes - there is no way not to do it. And trust me, sometimes going on easier way would be great, but I just can't. Though you might keep in mind.... All the leaves, trees, bushes and such... They take a hella lot of time! I swear, foliage can be so annoying to draw, it might be the thing I hate the most by now. XD
Anyway, I am extremely glad that you think of the enviroment seeming natural, this is what I am aiming for after all. By the way, reading your comment I can't stop grinning, it's super lovely! And for Switchback being fluffy and fuzzy you might not need to thank me, you created that fluffball after all. So the amazingness rather comes from you! :P
But really, I am just happy you like this picture, this is what matters. <3
