Maybe you have seen in or another group, I think we could protest (not only with a petition) if we could reunite a good number enough of fans. Yeah, I know itΒ΄s quixotic and crazy, but itΒ΄s not impossible. We have until September. It just would have to be a gigantic, megaprotest, like the war against SOPA and PIPA. No violence, of course.

I donΒ΄t think we have to accept and "get used" to this, as many people is talking. If there was a number good enough of revolted people, we could protest.

With Kevin being somewhat of a heart-throb with the show's female fans, you'd think Derrick and the design team would have been careful to not ruin his image and piss off said female fans. This design looks like something from Total Drama Island rather than a continuation of Kevin's look from AF/UA.

IΒ΄d have said something from Johnny Test or Symbionic Titan, but you caught exactly the point. In these last episodes of UA, he had recovered his spark (letΒ΄s admit, Kevin was kind of toned down after Absolute Power, I hardly recognized him in Basic Training)... well, as I was saying, he started to get more attention again, so I thought that finally the scriptwriters and producers realized what he means to the serie. Kevin is for Ben 10 AF and UA what Wolverine is for X-Men and Vegeta is for Dragonball Z. But apparently DJW was only concerned with his personal satisfaction.
IΒ΄ve been trying to gather people to protest since last Saturday. We must show CN how much angry we are, before itΒ΄s too late. Although DJW design for Transformers Animated was hated, it clearly influenced Optimus PrimeΒ΄s looks in Transformers Prime. So thereΒ΄s a risk that our Kevin will be like this forever, if we wonΒ΄t show our rejection.
Please PM me if youΒ΄re interested in helping, and talk about this to other fans. This might work, but only if weΒ΄ll have tons of people.

Kevin has pretty much been the glue that kept UA together most episodes. DJW is a too stuck-up for his own good, he KNOWS people do not like alot of the changes he makes design and story wise to established cartoons, and he yet he still doesn't try to please them.
Hopefully, if your idea works the the creators will do a turn-around with the character designs for the second season of Omniverse (if one is produced) ala Batman The Animated Series season three.

Yeah, thatΒ΄s what I hope to. Like happened in Jake Long, they changed the design in the season two...though for worse.
Or close Omniverse before time and release a new serie.

I never understood the desigh change for Jake's dragon form on that show, but aside from that the show was really cool, even for a disney chanel production.
I'm willing to wait until September to decide if Omniverse is a failure or not, so I'll pass for now.

Okay. And btw, I never liked the design change in Jake Long - actually, I stopped watching the show after that. Just was saying that a change of looks is possible.
