I agree about a group like ours being needed (and can say so without sounding egotistical, coz I wasn't the one who founded it -_^).   We feel that there ought to be a group (or more than one) adding quality, representational Afro-ethnic art to the mainstream media.  The bit that repeatedly amazes me is how thoroughly our members step up to that challenge.  The viewing is really a treat!  Also, it's rewarding to see artists sharing their voice.

Totally agree! There's so many artists out there who are eager for something like this, and I'm loving how active the group is. It's truly inspiring!
