Badge commission for of her character Inga. I absolutely adored doing this one. Been too long since I've done horses. So extremely cute! <3Watercolor and colored pencil on 3" X 4" Bristol.

This reminds me of Jan Brett's book, Fritz and the Beautiful Horses, which I read and re-read like mad growing up. I especially like the way you handle the material as well as the details of the composition itself, such as the braids in the mane and the fur edging on the shoulder strap.
