I love this! Anubis was and is my favorite Egyptian deity. The colors are eye catching and blend together so well. I love the eclipse in the background. And when I look into the eyes, I feel like I'm really face to face with Anubis.

Unsure if it's intentional or not, but the red on the bracelets and headdress resembles tendons and muscle--I do find it to be oddly fitting. Strong use of color, however I would work on value, as it's hard to tell where some of the edges in the black areas end and begin.

I really like this composition, your fur looks like fur, your anubis resembles a dog, the clothes are aegyptian and the heart is... a heart.
But, there's some room for improvement, small improvements. For once i'd done the black of the moon in anubis fur color and the ears surrounded with a soft yellow glow, assuming they get lighted from behind. The Ankhs are a nice touch but the scarabs are wrong. While they have a wide usage of?in depiction they actually stand-in for another god called Kephri who's a deity of the sun... and as this pic is a solar-eclipse it checks out, if it was intended.
While I find the aegyptian pathenon interesting a.f. I tend to be more buddhist-taoist-whateverthejapanesedoist-ic.

Hes actually my favorite Egyptian God. Probably because hes kinda the only one I know besides Ra, Set, Horus, and the snake one, cant remember the name. He used to be called Anpt before the greeks came around
