Though she can be quickly summarized as "Biollante with a bunch of Audrey II heads", the two mesh really well together.
Also, when upgrading a monster to a "super form" there's always the risk of cramming in too much, making the weaker version more aesthetically appealing, but I don't get any of that from these guys. Their development feels very natural, with all the additions meshing nicely with the base.

I'm glad to hear that! The secondary form for each kaiju was designed first, and then 'trimmed down (haha, plant joke)' to make their original form or built up to make their final form. I was always worried of piling on too many elements.
I will say that Shrubby was an especially 'busy' creature, and had *so many moving parts!* Took the longest to set up and animate of all the kaiju.

One of my personal favorite kaiju ;D. Had to have a plant monster as a shout-out.
