Esuli is Alenia's oldest servant, a hundred years after the building of the manor one of the remaining drow, a male, was spotted stealing from new human town. it was nothing serious, mostly food and clothes, what was needed to survive. one day, however, this drow was caught stealing and made a run for it, somehow weaving down a particular faded path that he did not know, he came to the manor. having lost his tail he relaxed and smelled wonderful food coming from the manor not far from where he stopped. it sat out on a table in the back garden. no one around. it wouldn't hurt to take a little he thought. after sitting and starting to eat "yes, i see you accepted my invitation, do enjoy, and once done please come in, I've prepared a room for you and would much like some company.
Esuli doesn't remember much of what they talked about when 'he' had first met Alenia but she remembers fondly the day after when she was reborn as Esuli SilkSpinner, her wonderful silk soft and magnificent glistening in the light, a gem hidden beneath the dark sinister body of a spider. Alenia had said it was perfect for her. beneath the terrifying body of the spider is a treasure, like how deep within the thief laid Esuli a treasure that was often overlooked.
Esuli weaves many of the products of the manor from the clothes to the softer furnishings. she occasionally makes stuff for Alenia to sell for the few needs they actually get from the outside world. she often makes harp strings with her silk and plays them for Nyrie to sing to. she also cares for the gardens out back.
Esuli comes off as a cold person because she is often wary of guests mostly because they often scream at the sight of her, which she has grown accustomed to. however, over time she is easily seen as the kinder person she is but just knows not how to show it well. she is easily one of the most organized of Alenia's servants and keeps a cool head.
