"Shouldnt we get started?" you sigh, whacking his legs. He glances at you, or so you think, what with those stupid anime shades on his face, and shrugs, sitting up. "whatever" is his only responce. Uugghhhh. You slide off the armrest and onto the cushion beside him, pulling out the needed materials, Both of you finally getting down to business and doing your work.

Halfway through, Both of you hear the lock on the door click and the door open.

"produced the Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff movies? Yea, that's me." he finished her sentence for her. She stared. I looked away. This is one of the reasons you hated having people over. Your brother just happens to be a teen idol all over the globe. Naturally. You look over at Roxy

"Roxy, can we get back to work on our project?" you ask. She nods and leans over you to grab something. And then your bro does something totally un-ironic and uncool that you could almost die. He looks at you and simply says.

"Arms length apart kids. Door stays open. And I will be providing the food and drinks here for safety reasons." and then he walked away.

What. Your mouth is open as you sit up straight again, cheeks slowly flushing red. Dirk sighs and runs his hand through his hair and you are just speechless. "uh, sure." you say, trying not to sound nervous. She nods and walks into the kitchen and comes out and hands you some iced tea. You say thank you. "we should get started on the project now, shouldn't we?" you ask. She nods
"yeah, probably." she says. And with that you start reading a text book when the door opens to her house. You freeze. Could this be a parent? Or worse, a DAD? But when she glances up and smiles and greets the person by name, you know it's not her dad. You look up at who entered the room

He has her raven black hair and darker blue eyes. He looked around the same age as Jade and he had the same kind of frames as you. Wait, he has the same frames as you? Copycat. He's wearing a blue t-shirt with some sort of symbol drawn on it, black jeans and black hoodie that's un-zipped and the sleeves are pushed up to his elbows. Please tell me that's her brother, you think to yourself. Please lord please.

"hey Kiddo, how're you doing today?" he asks her.
"fine John, and I'm not a kid!" she laughs. And then John looks at you.
"who's this?" he asks. Jane suddenly remembers you and blushes slightly, making John raise an eyebrow.
"oh, uh. This is, my project partner from school…" she stammers, he watches her.
"well no duh Kiddo! If he was more then that you'd guys be in the bedroom by now!" he joked, but that only made her - and you- blush even more. You decied to speak up.
"it's…it's not like that! We got paired up in school and we had to go to one of each others house to work on the project! And…and.." you said, panicking he laughed at both of your discomforts.
"relax guys I'm joking!" he said. Jane nodded.
"alright…thank you for scaring the devil out of me." she laughed nervously, "anyways, John this is Jake, Jake this is John" she said. You smile kindly at John.
"nice to meet you Jake!" he announces then looks at Jane, "could you get me an iced Tea please Kiddo?"
"I'm not a kid!" she said as she went into the kitchen.

John looked at you. And he said in a low voice.
"don't. touch. My. Sister." he told you. You were appalled. You weren't even thinking of doing no such thing!
"I…I wont! I wasn't even thinking of doing so!" you stammer, nervously. He looked you in the eye and smirked.
"oh really now? Well, I'll have to do something about that then." he said with a smirk. And just like that, you saw an innocent brother trying to protect his sister turn into a brother that was trying to hook his sister up. With you. Oh this was going to be a long day.

And just like that Jane walked back in and handed John some iced tea. He thanked her and walked away. You and Jane started working on the project together. What seemed like days later but really only was an hour or so. Your hands gently brushed against each other as you reached for something. You blushed and looked at her, she was blushing and looking at you.

"sorry," you say nervously. She nods and pulls her hand away.
"y..yeah, same." she mumbles. She looked at you and you were suddenly locked in her gaze. It was as her eyes wouldn't let yours go. But they did.

When you felt John's hand on the back of your head pushing you forward.
Your lips meeting Jane's.

God, his lips are so soft, your mind whispers, and you try your hardest to push that thought from your head, banish it right now. But you cant. Neither of you can move, Most likely because you can see John smirking with his hand on the back of Jake's head. Assholeeee.
But anyways, all you can do is stare into his forest green eyes while he stares into your cyan ones, Lips touching, cheeks red as hell.

Oh my god you are going to kill John the second Jake leaves.
