Not sure if this joke was made already, but I couldn't resist.
Anyway, the joke is, that almost all calico cats are FEMALE. Males are incredibly rare, almost all of them are sterile (I've heard only about one case when calico male cat was able to make kittens) and have other health problems. Why? Because GENETICS! Anyway, I'm sure Google, Wiki, or any site about cats will tell you more about the subject. 
So, Pig from Dreamwork's "Home", Mochi from Disney's "Big Hero 6" (both male, surprisingly). The third cat, who is having a bit of fun here, is a real-life cat (my own pet, Mysty). And she is a female calico cat, the way it usually is.)

I have never seen any (single) male calico/tortoiseshell cat(s) in my real life in live sight; I only see them in Youtube videos or computer. I only saw was only just girls. I will try to make more luck next time. It's pure luck-based in my life.

There is one book tho that follows that rule, Warriors. (Most of the Tortoiseshell cats are female, jk the’re all female)

In the original books, Pig was a female. They don't changed it for the movie because... screw genetics? xD

Ну да.) Такие самцы действительно бывают, но они необычайно редки и практически всегда бесплодны. Можно сказать, что если ты видишь трёхцветную кошку - 99,9%, что это самка. А если же вдруг самец - то 99,9%, что стерильный. Такие генетические дела, да...

Aw, very cute. My cat Asia is a tortle, which is like a calico but without the white. Well, she actually has one tiny white patch on her belly. Like calicos, tortles are almost always female.
The scientific explanation for this is that in order to be a calico or tortle, the cat must have both the gene that gives black fur and the gene that gives ginger fur. Both genes are located on the X chromosome, but are mutually exclusive so the only way a cat can have both is to have two X chromosomes, which normally only females have. However, there is a genetic defect that can give a cat third gender chromosome, making it an XXY, which is male but usually sterile. This defect exists in humans too, by the way.

Indeedy. And - woah! - there are TWO animated movies in a row, by Disney and Dreamworks, which have a calico male cats in them! LOL. Pretty weird, if you ask me.
