It's not a bad shot.

I like the vignette and how that seems to emphasise how dead it is by the way the darkness crowds around it, not letting any light through...

The off-centre positioning is great as it sort of emphasises how it's no longer the centre of attention any longer...

I like how the leaf itself has this burnt out look. The way the colours contrast creates a powerful impact and the framing isn't too bad, although perhaps it would have been better to have captured more space?

The angle/point of view could be different as well, maybe level with the leaf so we're looking towards it and now... down it, if that makes sense.

Nevertheless, it's fantastic!
