Description Devanagari ISOT World- थ (similar but not the same to the English 'tha'. Try putting your tongue between your teeth, and make an aspirated 'T' sound).
In this world nations whose Hindi name starts with थ have ISOTed to a human-less earth which diverged about four million years ago from our own. There's only one such country, Thailand (थाईलैण्ड- 'Thaaeelaend').

Thailand, finding itself totally alone, had a rough time. Plentiful space, and the ability of farmers to move to nearby farmlands, which although good enough for sustenance levels were not terribly conducive to massive population building, kept humanity afloat.

By the year 2500, humanity (speaking various languages, all regarded as mere dialects of 'Standard Thai') is spread very thin, and is reliant on agriculture. Trade is rather limited, and the vast majority of inhabited territory is occupied by somewhat anarchist/libertarian groups and local rule. The two large Buddhist monarchies controlling China-Korea-Japan and the Middle East (including Egypt) aside, feudalism is more dominate than authoritarianism, and rule by clan/by tribe/by village is more dominate than feudalism. The "First World" includes parts of India, Southern China, Continental South East Asia (now having been at peace for centuries) Indonesia, and East Africa. Religion is big, but not a source of conflict; almost the entirety of the world is either Buddhist or following a splintered sect of Buddhism. The main exception is Australia, which is Muslim Thai. The Muslims of Southern Thailand were among the first to migrate out, but successive waves of Buddhists pushed them further and further south over the centuries. Eventually they settled in Australia, before being conquered by the now-Buddhist inhabitants of Indonesia. In the last century, an Islamic Revolution overthrew the oppressors and established a shariah state that, while not being really a bad place (alcohol is still legal for instance) is a global pariah. Technology fell back to the 90s fairly quickly after the event, and remained their for centuries. Without state-funding, advancements have come slowly and out of necessity, though a democracy in Eastern Africa recently started Moon missions. International Orders of Buddhist monks, while easily willing to split on the lines of dogma, nevertheless are a connected, influential group that not-so secretly does most of the scientific or academic work in the world. A somewhat more useless version of the internet has been in use for centuries, and shows no signs of replacing the written word more fully in the future, though it is much less centrally controlled or monitored. Things may about to change, as a demographic boom seems to be approaching, thanks to living standards returning to 2016 levels. And though trade has been low, with the highly isolated from itself, large parts may be about to become once again connected.

This seems like such a lonely world to end up in.
