*chuckles* well, in the stories they are married eventually, Andy Nubis with his ability to summon a phantasmal guardian force and his mate Sandy (Bastet) who can literally turn herself into shadows and is expert in the ways of the ninja. She took the name Bastet for her hero name to compliment his own.
As for the anatomy, lots and lots of books about anatomy and pose references.
