Description
Shalkats will bear one or two cubs at a time and are one of the few species in which both the mother and father raise the young. Parenting duties are shared between the adults, who will take turns hunting and caring for the offspring. Cubs will stay with in this family unit for about 18 months before leaving to mark out their own territory and find mates. Siblings will often band together during this timeBeen missing my shallies! I've tweaked the design just slightly to include different markings on the face. Enjoy!

Holy smokes, that fur detail! WOW! It looks so realistic and amazing! I especially love that swirly cowlick on the bigger feline's belly! The lighting is soft and lovely as well
My favorite part is that little cub staring straight at the viewer-- depicting a subject doing that isn't easy to pull off, but I think you've done so very well! It's like the cub is reading into the viewer's very being, in the way that young ones so often do

As much as I hate being a pain in the butt... but I want to point out that her right leg looks oddly twisted. The way you've positioned the main forearm and elbow it looks as though she would have her paw tucked under so the jew claw would be on the grass.
But other than that this is a really great painting :'D

Hmm, the baby doesn't look that cute. Not to be prickly or a know it all, but the baby's eyes aren't big enough. your eyes don't grow, which means that they're adult sized when your born. That's why baby's and baby animals have such large eyes.
