i used an objet 24 printer!! and ikr i was really amazed how smooth it came out

I tried once, but it printed too small so all the joints just got,, printed stuck together lmao it was a long time ago, i guess i should re-try now that I have improve in 3D modeling and stuff mmmm

ty! I got them printed at my college on an objet 24 printer!! I did a lil side course for 3D printing and I was lucky enough to use the really good printer

did you study 3dsmax, maya, blender or some other 3D software?

I started on 3dsmax and then moved to maya, but both of these were made in zbrush!

does your school have a licence or did you get zbrush yourself? I would love to have it but it's sooo expensive... ;-; I hope I'm getting some free version from my school too.

My school does have licenses for all the programs but I got zbrush for free if u kno what I mean ; )
And I studied advanced diploma of games!! I just finished it LAUGHS
And I did a lil 3d printing course on the side at the same campus

Lot's of universities have games courses! I didn't go to a uni one but mine lasted ,,, 3 years i think? but that was from cert 3 to advanced diploma. It taught me how to make 3d models, animate, code, make games obviously and other lil things too

yeah okay thanks! unfortunately where I come from we don't really have that many cool courses.. ^^' I know only of couple schools like that, and they have specific specialization. I've been thinking about moving out to england or something because of the education is much better in there than here! I only have one school in my country that would provide me with the education I want, and they only take like 10 students in in a year D:
I wasn't sure what to call those... so I said meta marks because that's the closest thing to represent it. you know how there apparently is some kind of code hidden behind everything that they can check and find out that you are using their program but illegally... I don't know how to explain is since it's kinda hard, but I doubt you run into trouble if you don't use the illegal version for a commercial use, where people can check the data and compare it to legal version. I don't even know if the thing exists but apparently it is possible that some softwares make sure that their illegally got counterparts leave some traces behind. You know how you download a 30 day trial the pc knows you previously had the 30 day trial and prevents you from re-downloading the trial for example... I think the only thing I've heard is that someone had a photo manipulation software that left a text Β "made with an illegal version" or "made with trial/student version".

I don't know if it's really that big of a thing or whether or not you can get caught in it but I'm careful with illegal software... ^^' but! I would like to know where you can get the zbrush. I would love to at least learn to use the software. the free trial version is too short since I can only study during the weekends. ;-;Β

haha nah im not too worried about that. if i was planning to make a load stuff with it and sell it, then i'd have to look into actually buying it.
They need a cheaper alternative for people just starting off. Maya has Maya LT for only $30 a month, which i'd glady pay for. But I wouldn't pay almost $800 for zbrush??? i don't have that kind of money LAUGHS

cheaper alternatives should be a must! I think some other software makers are going to beat maya and zbrush someday because of their prices.
