it looks a bit weird.. I think you should keep the one above, down, left and right at their max. the other thingies between them, can be there and not. I think that ll look better.
or if you make a third frame, then the thingies I just wrote can be one smaller

dont change the middle
keep the corners, 2 pix long. third frame 1 pix long the thingies between them are long and short, changes every frame. maybe make it 6 frames that way, else the number is uneven
