College picture! So yups, I'm at college now, it's a blast, I don't get much sleep uhmm... the food's good, the classes are fun, I've met great people, and I can't come up with anything profound at 1:30am. Especially when I know I'm going to have an 8:30am class today.
But I was so excited to finally finish this one! It tooks foreeevvverss. Please ignore the crappy background; I wasn't even going to attempt a bg initially, but thought better of it last minute--er, hour. Perhaps I'll go back and fix it sometime.
Revisiting Tales of Symphonia and my fav characters Sheena and Zelos!
This would be after Corrine dies... 
with the additional snow... because. Because I didn't want to draw a roof. Or a background. So I made a compromise with myself.Small EDIT: changed the lines a bit on Zelo's shirt to make him look a lil' more proportional.

I honestly always thought that Zelos had a better understanding of how to deal with things when Sheena was all sad...even when I didn't hardcore ship this couple. (Was too interested in daddy/son relationship with Lloyd and Kratos)

the zelos elbow with his hand coming to us looks a little odd... @.@ but i see more of that stuff lately thanks to figure drawing class. it's a difficult angle.

It's fun but it's hard cause we have to do perspective after she told us the 8-head rule, which perspective kills. -_-

NICE. Sheena looks amazing in this!!! Zelos... could use a lot of works;; His arm looks kind of awkward there. It's distracting. It almost looks like it's nowhere near where it should be in proper anatomy. And based on where you put the center line on his chest, his torso seems too small, especially in comparison to his head. Uhm also... Zelos has those armwarmers..... I don't know if you forgot, or chose not to add them. If you chose not to add them, I don't see why you would.
But the shading on everything looks great. You did the skin really well, especially the hands. And I love the hair so much in this! And Sheena's shoes..... I dunno, you just did her shoes really well and I like them XD
On a side note, I'm really tired of seeing all this ZelosxSheena fanart from people with Sheena crying. It's like every single one of them. e__e

O-oh my god, I love this drawing. I love Sheena and Zelos and the scene you did with them, it's so touching. <3 Not only that, I like your drawing style and your coloring -- it looks awesome! You did a great work on the shading and lighting, and for a BG that you didn't planned to do, I think it's very well done. o.o I love it, and love those colors! All in all, I really enjoy the atmosphere of this piece.

Just a little critique (I know they're not very useful after the pic's already done, but maybe it will help somehow somewhere over the rainbow): there's something a little off about his right arm. I think it might mostly be the position of his shoulder (too low compared to where his head is?) but it's also probably due to the perspective his forearm's drawn at (I know that's like one of the hardest perspectives to draw, blegh), it seems a little bit small. But anyway, as always your coloring and lighting are beautiful *jelus jelus
