Description it's back. from the series : [link]

i was going home. and as i had searched some sunny places to photograph people and my street was not sunny, i had turned off my camera. i don't know why this kid drew my attention, he was sitting with his brother. i stopped, turned on my camera, he saw me, i waited, he looked at his brother and jumped. i took the photo and left. i'm like a robber when i take photos. never take the risk to have problems with my models. plus i was on the other side of the street, and it's a big street.

I think the composition here is fine. adds so much more to the fact that it was sponteneous. I love this, made me smile!

That's such an awesome description... I do the same thing. Sit in waiting for the person(s) I am trying to shoot to do just what I want them to, and then I shoot what I want to with my lens, and then just walk away blending into the streets so I don't have to talk to them or interact with them at all.

It works best that way, I've found!

the composition of this photo is great. The jumper is placed perfectly. I wish the walker could have been a step or two more to the left but that wouldn't be possible unless you walked up and asked everyone for a redo. Great job..

This is really awsome. But there is a lot of space to the right. Create a balance with the space.

lonewolfMJ In reply to lonewolfMJ [2005-05-14 13:15:37 +0000 UTC]

*nods* I understand completely. It is a good balance and that was a bad call by me. Something seems to slightly distract the characters though. Perhaps they contradict each other. I'm not shure, I was just attemtping to share some perspective.
