do you expose both shots at the "normal" aperture and times when doing a double (or triple ..) exposure or do you underexpose them? (like half the exposure time necessary etc)

Ah, this is fantastic! I've never been able to do a decent in-camera double exposure. Do you plan yours or do you just click and hope it works? I remember one of my photography teachers once shot a roll of nude portraiture, then accidentally reused the film when doing some shoots of architecture. Some of them turned out pretty well.
