I think they are kinda cool. I admit this one looks a little scary. Lol! I've never come across an aggressive one... they've just mostly wanted to keep to themselves.

What a fitting portrait for such a horrible bird! Haha! When I was a kid, my neighbor had at least 10 Guinea hens, and she never kept them properly fenced in. They would come into our yard at 5 or 6am every morning and wake everyone up. I usually love animals, but I had no qualms about chasing them off our property every time they showed up.

I think the fact that he was blinking his third eye lid when I took the photo makes it even worse. They're aggressive birds, too.

XD my mother had seven of those hens... they are the loudest animals I've ever heard in a farm. They were our "strangers alarm" and all of us knew when somebody were near the field.

They are great for security (both against humans and predators) and for eating ticks. I don't know if I'd ever own any of my own.
