Won second place in multi-media division the Lee County Fair Art ShowGriever pendant that Squall wears from Final Fantasy VIII
About 4 hours, pastel.
On a 12" by 10" paper.
Done with gloved fingers, pastel pencils, and paintbrushes.

Agree with Avel-Fairy here, I first saw the thumbnail and thought it was a photograph. You nailed the metallic lighting effect here.

That makes me so happy you think so! I really tried to make it look realistic.
I worked pretty hard on it.
I admit, it wasn't easy with the high contrast...
Especially keeping the white, white, and the black, black.
Thank God for pastel pencils.
I couldn't have done it without them.
