Yay!Never done a self portrait, but I thought hey why not, I can use it as my ID, and the day I took the shot was perfect for it, I had just got my hair cut and the blue streak reapplied.
Hardest part (apart from the eyes) was trying to hold the camera steady propped up on a pillow between my knees in order to get the reference shot, but it was worth the effort and frustration in the end.

I think your pictures are brillant I've never seen someone do watercolour pencils on black card before... did you come up with the idea yourself? anyways I stand gobsmacked

Wow thankyou, I'm really glad you like my style. Although, the watercolour pencils on black card didn't come from any creative genius, itβs all I had available to me at the time I started this venture into drawing people (and I donβt use them properly either, I use them like regular pencils β aka without water). I figured out that I liked the effect and so I've just kept it on since then. Anyway, thank you for the positive comments, it really spurs me on to do more!

I had a set of watercolour pencils that I didnt know how to use too lol gave them away to my sister... anyways it worked out well for you a happy accident as one of my art lecturers is always saying.... keep up the good work I'll be watching lol
