I've done several of these eye portraits, but this one was really neat. I love how you can see how the iris stretches to cover the pupil. I don't fully understand how it all works, but when you look at it this closely, it really is fascinating.Related content

Completely agree. People don't often get the opportunity to appreciate how wonderfully beautiful and complex the eye is both as an organ and as a piece of natural art. Love this!
