Finally. Today I came really close to a busy insect. I could se every detail on its tiny body. What a beautiful creature! You should try it, it is quite fun

what type of camera its need to take good insects photos? im not a pro photograph but i always wishes to ad nice clear insect photo to help me whit anatomy on my art. and its seem that the lonely way to ad the insect position as i wish its to take photo by myself because i never found what i wish on the net. .

What a great shot! I love catching these little bugs and looking at them up close. Rest assured, I mean them no harm and let them go after a few seconds. Only one problem, it's not a bee, but a fly that minics a bee.

hmm Z1 how do you find it ? i got a Z2 and i am pretty fed up with it..

The Z1 is a nice camera, but after allmost a half year, I suddenly want more functions, higher resolutions, xtra equipment and so on. But is has been a lovely camera so far
Why aren't you satisfied? The Z2 should be a much better camera though!

not really ,it has more megapixels otherwise its the same.. i am having major problems with it. the macro isnt so big either if i set mine to super macro i still wouldnt get such depth as you get..
and its been sent back to minolta 3 times now..

What a breath-taking macro. I love the brilliant colors presented in this, it's quite amazing. The detail is so fine here. I espcially love the insects body and eyes. The eyes look so smooth and unnatural, and the body actually looks like it's a bit flat. The skeleton of the wings is ridiculously crisp, which is amazing. As for the flower,... it came out great...the depth of field is just right because the focus is put on all the insect and just a bit of the pistols. Great job!
