I'm Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy mixed i think. I'm loud and bouncy and fun loving, and I always love to meet new people and make friends. But I also love nature and animals and sometimes I just want to be quiet and alone.

I love it! I'm going to cosplay Fluttershy and I'd loke to make a perfect costume like yours. You've done really a great work with it! So, can I ask you a coupple of things? I'd like to know how you made the wings and the ears, they are amazing *-*

The ears and wings are both made from craft foam, you can find it mostly in the kids craft section of crafting and fabric stores.
For the wings all I did was cut out three pieces for each wing, so six all together. Four identical smaller pieces for the feather inner layer, and two for the main wing, then I hot glued the two out pieced to ether side of the main wing, this makes them very durable and keeps the shape. I had to paint over them with acrylics because the only yellow they had was too bright, and Fluttershy is a softer lighter yellow. Now the wings don't connect to each other, each one clips to the back of the dress using basic bobby pins inserted into the wing between the first two layers, this lets them slip easily onto back of the dress without having to mod the dress. Keep in mind this will only work if you are using a low back dress like I have, as they need something to clip too. I'm sure you could just glue them on though if your not worried about reusing the dress for anything else.
The ears are even more simple, all i did was cut a couple surf boardish shapes out, but with one the bottom cut flat, and painted them just like the wings. Then all i did with fold them in the middle, stick a bobby pin through, and wala! It should clip right into your wig. Jut be careful not to make them too pointed, or they come out looking like cat ears.

Oh man they took a long time! The craft foam was too bright of a yellow, I had to paint them to the right color and it took about three coats on each side! But they turned out good. Thanks!

Also, seeing Fluttershy being over-the-top happy is just so... IDK, kinda makes me happy too XD
So don't be afraid to be a little different, it might be a starting point for others to do more Flutterjoy [... That actually sounds nice]
