Aspensnap felt anger spark in his veins. It started, a low rumble, as Stagfrost defended the Ia. Then it grew, as Aspensnap realized that his friend wanted to hold him down. Like a piece of prey! His lips drew back in a snarl.
”Don’t pretend to know me, Stagfrost. I’m smarter than you. I’m more adaptable than you. And I know what I’m doing.” He was trying to stay focused, but his lungs seized up in an attempt to cough. He tried to hold it down, but only succeeded in choking on his own breath in a gasp of painful air. When the fit was over, he wiped his eyes with a paw. ”... You’re not going to stop me.”

Aspensnap and Stagfrost: Go - Roleplay
Aspensnap blinked exhaustion from his eyes, his gait uneven and tired. It was the middle of the night, anyways, and nobody was there to see his weakness.
He'd left camp after a bout of coughing had seized him, not wanting to wake anyone up and not being able to sleep anyways. The night was crisp, and he usually enjoyed the frigid wind that came with a leaf-bare evening. Tonight, though, it only succeeded in making him shake against the cold.
He'd lied to Stagfrost. After the other tom left, Aspensnap had gone straight back home instead of making the journey to Ela. His fur dried on the way back, and he was sure he wasn't in any trouble. He'd only blacked out twice as he trotted to camp. And he'd stayed standing through one of them!
He didn't want to worry Stagfrost, so he told him he'd been to Ela. But now, as he finally returned to his nest, he began to wish he had just gone. It had been months since the accident and he was only feeling
From this roleplay with Crowsmos ! I'm a little out of practice with scenes. They take so long, it's pretty exhausting to do as many as I would like. Doodles like these, and this one, more or less let me do what I want without it being too tiring.
