I've been being a narcissist lately, and imagining how I'd direct a Nightmare on Elm Street reboot if I was given the opportunity, and kinda got carried away with conceptualizing it.Anyway, here's my Freddy redesign/reinterpretation.Β

I kind of prefer this over hisΒ canon interpretations. I like the idea of making him look like something you could only see in your nightmares.

Freddy seems to have gone a little Lovecraftian here.

I like this, he actually looks like a stereotypical nightmare monster. The sort of form-shifting thing also works pretty well. But if i might make a suggestion, if not to you, then to someone else in the comments. possibly drawing a version of him more in the style of "Pink Floyd's the wall, the movie." I think that sort of art style would really fit Freddy's scummy personality better.

I actually like this concept, making Freddy less human and more of a monster that he is. Turning his gloved hand with screwed in knives be an actual part of him giving him that sinister and creepy edge, and with him being a nightmare creature he would of course be able to change his human face into something more specific to terrify his prey
