A couple of ideas I had in the backburner for an example of the thus-far nebulous many races the Merqueshi Empire gathers under its banner:- The Hoozh are silicone-based sophonts hailing from Nefun, a planet 10 times the size of Venus notorious for its hellishly hot temperatures. Once in constant conflict over their fragile crops, they provide mineral resources and fighting aid to the Merqueshi in exchange for a steady supply of food. A Hoozh possesses great strenght and resilience as well as quite impressive charging speed, but their particular biology forces them to wear tightly-sealed suits outside their home planet, lest they explode on contact with an Earth-like atmosphere. Highly individualistic and with ravenous appetites, they're one of the few races the Klurrrg seem to hold any real respect towards.
- The small, subterranean Damaba submitted themselves to the Merqueshi before their homeworld was annihilated by its dying sun, and live on today as one of their most abundant workforces. While timid and nearly blind without the aid of techological implants, they make instinctive, efficient labourers, and breed quickly

As always, you keep coming up with the most interesting races for the setting. ^^
I will say, on the Hoozh, that I think a silicon-based sophont may not be particularly plausible due to the limitations imposed by a silicon-based biology. But still, the design is quite original and I quite like it. ^^

Just a question on acceptability of your ideas: I'm fine with accepting a lot of these concepts into the group, but I'm just curious to know if you've talked to Don about these, as well as the other recent submissions you've had. If not, that's fine, I'm just wondering, since this is now moving beyond the Gulchabrahva and into factions that he's come up with and has his own plans for. Concepts are fine to submit to the group, of course, at least I think so, canon or not.

Pretty much all of these I brought up with Don before, actually. The naked mole rat guy is inspired on a rp session we had together and he didn't rule out the idea.
If you're not okay with these you can always remove them tho, I don't really care.

I am, I was just curious to know if Don knew about these before you submitted them. More than anything it's up to Don what gets in the setting.

Rest assured, he knows. All the things I submitted to the group were done last year, I wouldn't post anything without letting Don know about it first
