I guess there is nothing special about this nihung⦠its just that he has this amazingly big turban!! How cool, hu?Found this guy in Anandpour, one day before the Halla Mahalla festival. There was a lot to see that day

Yes that's a dumalla style paghri (turban). Nihangs/nihungs r basically religious soldiers committed to extra strict lives than just regular Khalsa.(baptized Sikhs). N he's adorable!

That is one incredible turban.
I particularly like the silver accessories that adorn him, and how the turban and its restrains match his clothes.

NOP, orange and blue are the colors of the warriors, of the nihangs, they represent action and knowlege. ThatΒ΄s the way they dress all the time, every day, the whole year.
