I could almost hear some sort of melody to it while I read it...

I love this. It was really pretty and just made me smile.
However, I do want to point out a teeny mistake. In third stanza, fourth line, you misspelled scarred, or at least, that is what I am assuming should be scarred. I thought that you would like to know.

Yes this is "my song."
I was raised around and with music all of my life,
you could call it a bit of an obsession you could say.
I have 4 hard-drives filled with many styles of music, and
I am always collecting more. Reading books on many subjects or topics is my
other obsession too. I guess if one was to have a few obsession's or say addictions these two are of the few healthy ones to have.

I wish more lit pieces were on a background like this. It draws the eye instead of being plain deviantart text.
While I don't necessarily agree with the message, I do think that it's catchy and could see it being done by a group... especially like Reliant K.

I hear ya, the literature pieces do stand out more with a eye catching background.
Now as for the other comment as to "the message" I understand you, I was once a skeptic myself.
I still might appear to look like one to some people, especially after they peruse my gallery.
