Samantha leapt through the air, long blonde hair swishing alongside her as she spiked a volleyball, straight into the opposite team's zone. Her large belly at first had made it a bit difficult to get as much air time, but through training, was able to overcome her newfound largeness. Being the heavily pregnant volleyball captain did take some getting used to. No longer being able to dive for shots due to her new form was at first a pain, but she quickly learned how to stay nimble and on her feet. The extra weight on her midsection seemed to carry momentum for longer than the rest of her body, although a little uncomfortable at first, she quickly forgets the feeling and focuses on the game.

In between rounds you could often see Sam trying her darndest to pull her uniform over her belly. The material was relatively stretchy enough to cover most of her gut, but while in motion it quickly climbed up her swollen belly. If not seen struggling with her wardrobe, Sam was usually leaning back rubbing her stomach. Even if the intervals between rounds were less than 30 seconds, Sam took the opportunity to rest her weary feet. Being this large and active did tire her out more than usual. Exasperating the problem was how active her belly became during games. It seemed like the kiddos in her womb were participating in their own volleyball match when she was running and jumping around. When inactive, her hands idly rubbed her stomach, in an ineffective attempt to calm the occupants of her womb. Frequently during games, you could see her teammates taking a glance at the movement in her belly before snapping back to attention.

At first the rest of the team was a little skeptical when Sam had announced that she had become a surrogate to twins so she could help pay for college, but soon overcame these feelings when they saw her quickly adapt to her new form and continue to carry her own weight. It had become a sort of good luck tradition to rub Sam’s belly before a game for good luck, like a sort of buddha. At first Sam was annoyed by it, but eventually grew to tolerate all of the new attention she was getting.
