Sorry about the re-post but the original was just a quick sloppy edit to get something from my recent trip up. This new version is substantially closer to the RAW image (less processed).

Thanks! The original edit that you saw was, but in this new edit the bottom half is hdr but the sky is straight out of the camera. It's a really subtle HDR and probably not entirely neceasary but the top half of the pic was so intense that HDRing (is that a word?) the bottom seemed to ballance it out. I used filters for the first time with this shoot. This particular shot used two Cokin graduated filters A123 & A127 [link] stacked. Using the filters opened up a whole new range of possibilities; I just wish I had've caught on to them sooner!

It turned out very well. I've been using the Cokin filters as well and they do make a huge difference

Beautiful. I'll say it's a best kept secret. I have lived in Mackay all my life and Rocky isn't that far away and I never knew it existed. Had our honeymoon on Great Keppel Island. Not sure where Pumpkin Island is in relation to Great Keppel. Actually, now I do. Just checked out the location map. Thanks for sharing.
