I love when people start talking about old photos; it just brings back so many memories!
The night to the day this photo was taken was one of few spent indoors. After a couple of nights of rain it was time to dry our equipment and a small cottage became a real boost of moral.
Again we fell asleep to the sound of falling rain but it was all gone when we woke up. And obviously we just wanted to get out there again.
A few hours after the photo was taken the rain was back and the rest of the day hiking was the worst we had so far.
