I used one that was labeled Chris Eccleston. In what way is this one incorrect?

Oh, well, it's certainly not "incorrect" per se.  I didn't mean it as a criticism.  It's just that all the other Doctors in this series of drawings have their own unique "Doctor Who" title, and for the sake of continuing the trend I thought you might consider using the version that ran at the beginning of Eccleston's run so that he'd have his own rather than the same one Tennant had.  Just a passing thought, really.

Just compared the logos in the title sequences of "Rose" and "New Earth" and I can't see any difference at all.

Hmm... well, here, I found an old forum with a pertinent thread. The difference is pretty subtle, but you can see that the initial logo of the revived series was replaced by a slightly revamped version around 2006.

At the time I was unaware that there was a difference at all. Still not sure what you mean.
